Exceed Urgent Care

Spectacular service. Clean facilities. Short wait. Great attitudes.
I grew ill. A week later, I was worse. I’m from out-​of-​town. What to do? I saw the First Choice Urgent Care storefront. I’m going there.
Marie and the front desk staff were cordial and efficient and entered my data and got insurance company approval instantly.
Tonya, the nurse, was knowledgeable and efficient and funny. She listened to what I had to say. She asked questions to clarify and expand. (She returns, later.)
Ms Deboise, the PA, was amazing. She listened, examined, and analyzed my symptoms. She said that I had a small problem not related to visit. I semi-​balked and said that I have a similar but different problem. She was exceptionally gracious and defined the terms she used. Wow! A medical lesson as well as treatment! Then, she said, just to be safe, we’re going to take an X-​ray.
Rebecca, the X-​ray tech, was polite and efficient and knew her stuff.
Ms Deboise said the X-​rays confirmed her just-​in-​case. She explained the how and why. She prescribed medicines and injections. I asked about medicine interactions. She gave another lesson. She was great!
Tonya returned with two syringes. She has a great technique. One injection started to hurt, but it wasn’t her technique. It was because she injected 1 – 2 gallons.
Five minutes later, Deboise returned to see if I had any negative reactions to the injections. Nope! All good! She said the front desk had an information sheet for me. Get well!
Marie explained the billing and used my card.
Later, I realized that I had forgotten to pick up the info sheet. I called and asked Marie to email it to me. No problem! Done!
Although I prefer to see a doctor-​doctor, First Choice Urgent Care is a very, very good substitute.
