The customer service here seemed decent when I visited late last year. However, I do have to admit that was the first and only time that I have visited this branch. There were no other customers so there was no line. My reason for visiting that day was to close my account (after being a customer for a decade) and the people behind the counter were friendly about it. The process took less than 5 minutes.

RTN is a great bank. I gave the Amesbury location high marks. This bank has taken me through some refinancing, a car loan and accounts going back a few years now.
This branch (Tewksbury), however, is the worst in customer service that I have been to out of 4 that I have visited. I often come in and have to wait for the tellers to finish their personal/​casual conversations before I am assisted. They have given me incorrect and poor information regarding applying for loans and I have had to contact the main branch over the phone to learn the proper procedures for applying etc.

I have been a customer of theirs for years. Terrible customer service. They have screwed up so many of my transactions I cannot even begin to explain. I have used them for auto personal and credit cards. I would never recommend anyone to go here. Did I mention they were rude.
