Don’t waste your time and money! This used to be a great buffet but now it is a constant let down!

In Terre Haute for business. Went to eat here earlier. Food wasn’t too bad and they actually had a lot of selection especially in seafood. There was only one problem. I had an extra protein in my rice — a small dead cockroach! The waitress was very apologetic but already lost my appetite. She was also quick to grab my plate before I even got a chance to take the pic. I gave her a decent tip and left. Not coming back here ever again.

The sushi is pretty good, and not a bad selection. Currently it is $ 4.99 and that price cannot be beat for the size of the buffet. The Hibachi Grill is worth the price, and if you stick to just sushi and the Hibachi Grill, you will be pleased. The General Tso’s and peppered chicken are decent, but everything else on the actual buffet is average. Their desserts are presented well, and you can make a nice salad from the buffet, but I am not impressed overall with everything else. For the price, it is worth it. The service is above average and the place is pretty clean for a buffet. Stick to the sushi and Hibachi Grill and you can’t go wrong.

The food isn’t great, but it works as a nice substitute to those nicer, but still shady Chinese buffets back at home. However, this place is dirt-cheap compared to some of the other places I’ve seen. I haven’t died eating the sushi in the sushi bar here… so that’s a plus.

I love Chinese food and try a new restaurant in every town I’m in. This however is the very best Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten in my entire life!!! My wife, when we were dating used to live in Terre Haute and we found this restaurant there. After one single meal it became the place we went every time I drove up to visit. It’s now«our Chinese restaurant». The people are the kindest. The place is spotless. And the food… my god the food. It’s DELICIOUS! If you ever get the chance, EATHERE!
