William Wilson began his private law practice in 1975 after serving as City Attorney for the City of Temple, Texas and Assistant District Attorney for Bell, Lampasas and Mills Counties. He is certified by the Texas State Board of Specialization in Personal Injury Trial Law and practices Civil Law, Estate and Probate Law.

A Baylor School of Law graduate in 1970 and an undergraduate degree from Baylor University in 1968. His practice has been in Temple since 1970 and has limited his practice to civil law, excluding family law, and has extensively practiced personal injury law since 1975. He was Board Certified in Personal Injury Law in 2000. Additionally, he practices in the probate law area.
