H&R Block

Wow, only use this place if you’ve got an afternoon to sit and wait forever. Made an appt., and he was running behind. Understandable, but show some concern for your customer, say something like «We’ll be right with you,» or something to show that you care that your customers pay your salaries and bills. I waited and waited, while the receptionist and another woman who came by (I’m guessing she also works there or did) chit-​chatted on and on, completely ignoring me. The man who I assumed was supposed to help me passed a couple of times, smiled at me briefly, began to also visit with the woman who had come in, while I’m sitting right there, then disappeared into the back. After about 30 minutes, I walked out. In fairness, this got their attention and I received a phone call shortly thereafter, which I didn’t take. I’m sure it was «Hey, why’d you walk out. We were going to get to you… in the next hour or two.» I won’t be back to H&R Block, and I don’t recommend others use them unless they don’t mind being treated like a number and disrespected.

I always use H&R block for my taxes & this year was no exception. I used Sheryl who is the same person I used last year & she helped me & answered all my questions. Service was quick, fast & efficient. I’ll be back next year.
