Wushu Action Star Academy is a world class martial arts training center providing instruction in Wushu (Chinese Martial Arts) and Taijiquan (Tai Chi). Wushu is an athletic discipline of physical culture and sports. It takes elements of China’s Traditional culture as its theoretical foundation and implements offensive and defensive movements, both bare-​hand and Wushu weapons training, in a very unique and dynamic fashion. Taichi is a Chinese exercise system that uses slow, smooth body movements to achieve a state of relaxation of both body and mind.

Wushu Action Star Academy is a world class martial arts training center providing instruction in Wushu (Chinese Martial Arts) and Tai Chi located in Temple City, California.

Wushu Action Star Academy was founded by Jing Li & Ying Li who have more than 15 years of professional wushu experience competing on the world famous Beiing Wushu Team in China, performing in Hollywood & Chinese action movies and for Cirque du Soleil. In addition, the pair have more than 10 years of teaching experience in America including being the former head coach of the University of California, Berkeley Wushu Team.

Business Owner

Coach Jing Li began her wushu training at the age of 6 and is now one of the world’s leading female martial arts experts and top Hollywood stunt actors (Rush Hour 3, Priest, The Last Air-​Bender, Fight Science etc.). She trained under the Beijing Wushu Team under the same coach as Jet Li. She holds titles as the International Wushu-​KungFu Champion and is also a former NASKA Weapons Champion. After winning the Hero Medalist Award (the highest honor for distinguished accomplishments in Wushu) she left the Beijing Wushu Team to come to the United States and coached at UC Berkeley (1999 – 2001), winning Coach Of The Year in 2000. She is also a certified contemporary Wushu judge.
