This place is my affordable go to place for mani/​pedi and eyebrow waxes.
I used to come here for mani/​pedis a lot — they were great and fast. However, it has been about 5 years since I’ve been here for a mani/​pedi so things could have changed.
I have been coming here to get eyebrow waxes since 2006 and I must say — I love it! It was 6 $ but the price has been raised to $ 7 sometime in the past year or two. They are usually really fast and do a pretty good job. After it is done, they always ask me if I like it or if there’s anything I’d like to adjust. Sometimes there is and they would fix it right away.
I have really sensitive skin and this is the only place where I can get an eyebrow wax without having red puffy eyes and peeling eyelids.

I’ve been going to this location since I was in high school. The pricing is reasonable and the service they provide is great. I used to just sit down with whoever was available. But then I met Maggie and absolutely loved her work!!! She’s been doing my nails for about 3 years now. She’s extremely talented and is always able to duplicate the designs I want. If you’re looking for a good nail tech I highly recommend making an appointment with her. She did recently communicate that she was relocating to A&A Nail Spa in Arcadia, just a short drive from Holly’s. So, I’ll continue to support her over at that location.

Just recently found out my nail technician Maggie has left I’m following her to her new spot A&A nail in Arcadia. She’s the best… And the only reason I came here.

Got gel nails here about a week ago and felt compelled to share my awful awful experience.
The quality at Holly nails now is almost embarrassing — I should’ve heeded the warning signs from how slow the business was on a Sunday. On top of that, 2 days later my gel nails chipped. SO in 48 hours, my nails had already started to look like it needed to be touched up. At this point, what am i even paying «gel» nails for?!
I came in also wanting BURGUNDY nails. The older lady with shorter hair kept telling me «dont worry, one more coat and it will be darker»
REALLY LADY? Because in the light, my nails are still cherry red.
I have to say its time I break up with Holly.

Love coming to Hollys nails, got a fill and a gel new Christmas color, only 22 $ and she did an amazing job. She took her time and was excellent. Never disappointed when I come to Hollys!

Every time I go here I feel the same regret as when you eat at a dirty taco truck. In the moment it’s a cheap quick fix but you have to live with the bad decision for a week.
Holly nails is equally grimy, run-​down, but cheap and a quick fix for your nails when every other place has an hour wait but you don’t have the time to wait.
Now I have to live with nails that look like the work of 5 year old who can’t color in the lines hybrid with a 90 year old’s with Parkinson’s. sorry not PC but for REAL.
And then I got cussed at in Vietnamese when I said my nails looked bumpy. Duuuu YOU dammit!

Cheap but quality kind of sucks. I was surprised that their gel nail cost only $ 18. But if you want a french tip or other designs its extra (which comes to no more than ~$ 20). However, the quality of the gel is super thin and weak. My sister had a french tip gel nail done and it chipped off within 1 day. Luckily Holly Nail is kind with their return policy, meaning they will fix it for you with no charge. But why would you want to drive back? It takes time and effort when they could’ve done a better job the first time.

I came in for a basic manicure and told her to clean up my cuticles a little extra. She did a good job on the cuticles but the polish is horrible! Chunky, missing parts of my nail, and it’s all over my cuticle. I asked her to fix it and she said no its fine then put her finger print on the top coat checking to see if it was dry. This is by far the worst manicure I have ever had.
Another lady fixed 2 nails that were hideous after I demanded someone do something but over all it still looks pretty bad. I could have done better in a dim lit room…
Never coming back!

Terrible! the new girl name Chi Nguyen did my nails. My nails end up lumpy and with air bubbles. I complained and another woman attempted to fix the air bubbles. It didn’t work. I ended up with bumpy lumpy nails.

I come here for pedicures when I’m feeling too lazy to do my own. I always go to Linda, she’s quick, efficient, and does the best french manicure a girl can ask for. Linda doesn’t work on Sundays, so when I do go on Sundays then I will ask for Cindy.

I was skeptical of coming here at first because of the previous reviews but I decided to go anyways because of the cheap prices. I am not disappointed at all!!!
I paid $ 24 for my gel manicure ($ 18 + $ 6 for design) and I am so happy with the result. My nails look so cute & fancy, I can’t stop looking at them! Also, some places charge extra to take off previous gel color but gel removal is free with a gel manicure! :) ($ 5 removal fee without manicure)
Kim worked on my manicure and another lady (I didn’t get her name) did the design on the middle fingers. I’m really picky because some other places I’ve been to are sloppy (they don’t fill the gel all the way down to the cuticles, or they make it really messy) but Kim did a really good job. I felt like she was kind of rushing through the manicure portion but I’m very happy with the paint job.
The workers are nice. Not the most polite but they are nice enough. For the price I really don’t care, haha. I will probably be back!

I HATE THE LADY IN THE FRONT. (Vi?) She’s so rude. I called and made an appointment for 5:30. I walk in at 5:25 expecting to get seated in like 5 minutes and she doesn’t even acknowledge me. I asked her how long I had to wait and she said who are you again? Emily? Oh, probably around 30 to 45 minutes. There are a lot of people. BS! There’s a reason I made an appointment. This place and that lady sucks.

I came here for a few times now. First time I came with a gf who was introduced to this nail salon by her mom. The price is really reasonable. I recently just got a gel mani for $ 18. In terms of longevity, I think that is totally subjective. I justify the quality because of their price, although most might disagree.
The past 3 times, I came really late after work (after 7pm on weekdays) and they never turned me down. The always respectfully ask me to wait for a few minutes, pick a color and wait for the next available technician. I have to say they are pretty quick. So if you’re in a rush, this is the perfect place to get an OK mani/​pedi. The polishes they use are questionable. Since I got my gel mani couple days ago, and my left gel on my thumb is already chipping which is disappointing.
I’ve used 3 different nail technicians and they’re all average. Some takes longer, and some are quicker. They are always friendly though and will make suggestions for you in terms of colors and designs.
$ 1 extra for visa/​MC. I’ll probably come back since they’re usually availalbe and always busy.

BEWARE OF OLDER LADY WITH SHORT HAIR!
First time: Came in for a pedi & mani. Had two different manicurists. One working on my feet and other on my hands. Asked for the simple all white gel nails. Pedicure came out decent. Manicure was HORRIBLE! Sadly it wasn’t even because she was rushing or did not care. She was either too old or simply just sucked. She took her time and you could even see her trying so hard. She even attempted to clean up my nails at the end but her work still came out so messy. Spots of missing polish and polish on my skin. –_​_​_​_​_​_​– Perhaps the other manicurists are better. The place was pretty busy for a weekday morning. But I don’t think I’ll be giving them a second chance.

Wendy was the lady that did my nails and I decided go with her only because i saw another friend of mine Unilocaled her.
Unfortunetly for me I didn’t get the same type of service she had gotten. Wendy seemed to be in a rush and worked on my fingers so freaking fast that the french tipped i got fell off the following day!!!
I was annoyed because i had to drive all the way back and waste gas and time just to get one finger repainted! When I did go back, she used the excuse of repainting the rest of my fingers as a way of doing me a favor for her mess ups.
Probably go with someone else in the future when i go back.def. not going back to Wendy again.

I don’t usually go out to pay to get my nails done, but Holly Nails does a decent job. The ladies are very nice and accommodating, they listen when you tell them exactly what you want, even if you’re picky. For example, I didn’t want them to file or shape my nails (personal preference), I just wanted a buff and gel color. My total ended up being $ 12.
MY ONLY GRIPE IS, I showed them a picture of the color I wanted which was a gray with sparkled accents (see picture). By the end of my manicure, The silver sparkle polish wasn’t exactly the same as the one I wanted (this one reflected rainbow colors in the light instead of being solid. which I didn’t really like). I don’t know. Maybe I’m just a tough crowd but if I’m paying to get my nails done I want it exactly how I like or else I’d rather do it myself. Additionally. After 4 days, a piece of the gel came off when I was pulling at my hair in the shower –_​– It could have partially been my fault but I wasn’t too happy about that as I had to fix it myself. Also while filing, my manicurist nipped the skin on one of my fingers. Sigh and this is why I don’t like other people filing my nails.
Anyway, long story short. For me personally, I wouldn’t go get my nails done outside home again. BUT if you are someone who DOES like to get their nails done. Holly Nails is a good spot. You’re in and out quick, we walked in on a Saturday afternoon and was serviced immediately.

I’ve been coming to this place for years now and the work that’s been done is always perfect. But. Vi (the chick that sits in the front with the good English) is SO FREAKING RUDE. Seriously. Check your attitude and tone of voice with customers! I called to make an appointment with Maggie (who is always sweet) and Vi was so rude. No manners. And when I asked her if she needed my name she just hung up on me. Wtf. This will cause you to lose customers Vi, you need to check yourself.
Case in point, I don’t plan to come back if I call to make an appointment and she picks up.

Holly Nails is not a fancy nail salon but if you want great manicures/​pedicures for seriously cheap then come here. I would recommend seeing Joann. She’s the best at gel manicure designs. Her work is super cute and she’s actually nice to you.
My gel manicures from here always last the longest. I get the fading color tip with glitter so that it doesn’t look bad when your nail starts to grow out. I get tons of compliments at work all the time and people asking me where I got my nails done.
I got a regular pedicure with white french tip and a gel manicure with the fade and glitter this last time. The total came to $ 36! I have paid more than that for just a gel manicure alone. It’s really the best price for a great quality of work.
They do take credit cards but for $ 1 additional charge so it’s best to bring cash.
