Dr Tooth Family Dental

Everyone is always real friendly here! I come here for my twice yearly checkups and unlike other dentists I’ve had in the past, they don’t try to rip you off by telling you you «need» to do such and such extra treatments (so they can take $$ out of your insurance). They accept PPO insurance. They don’t accept HMO’s, which they’ve honestly told me is NOT the same as medical insurance HMO’s — dental HMO’s in general are a huge ripoff and you’re better off paying cash instead. Dr. Ma is very reassuring and helps ease any anxiety you may have when going to see a dentist. Tracy, the dental hygienist, gives great advice on how to maintain the health of your teeth between visits (flossing is always at the top of her list!). I’ve actually thought about changing to a dental office closer to where I live now since I’ve moved further away, but since I’ve developed a rapport with them, I decided it’s worth it to keep coming back to Dr. Tooth.

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, and I always look for Dr. Ma. I don’t let anyone else do my teeth cleaning. I’ve tried other dentists in the past, and none of them do as great of a job as Dr. Ma does. Dr. Ma is gentle with your teeth cleaning, and he does a flawless job while taking his time to make sure he doesn’t miss a spot. It’s so comfortable that I often fall asleep in the middle of cleaning.
The rest of the staff are really nice too, and the receptionist always remember my name when I walk in, even though I only go twice a year. Wait is never long with an appointment. I get in and out of there in less than a hour. And they’re willing to check if your insurance covers any type of service you request.
I do my best to come here as often as my insurance allows. Would not go to any other place.

Dr. Ma is a great dentist. My kids really think that he’s gentle, too. All the staff members are über (super-​super) nice and friendly. The office is very clean. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist.

The service is poor here and I will never come back here again. I never write reviews but I was very unhappy with the service with the lady that handled information regarding my procedure and cost. I did not find out the full cost of my procedure until that actual day of my appointment. They did not disclose up front the cost nor do they educate the patience about the procedures amd associated cost. I am very glad I did not do my root canal procedure here because they had bad reviews that is also hidden. Go to NOT recommended to view it. They told me I needed come back 4 times to complete the full and never disclosed that in the beginning and they did not disclose the cost I would need to pay for a crown. The staff has poor service and had call multiple times to follow-​up to try to get the cost. If you need a root canal do not go here and go to a Specialist Endontonist who know what they are doing!

Dr. Ma is great. Erica is the reception and she is very nice. The appointment is always on time and I never waited longer than 5 min. Everybody is very kind and professional. Dr. Ma is very good with kids too. Strongly recommend this place.

My son and I have been coming to see Dr. Ma for several years now. He’s been wonderful! He does a great job of explaning exactly what he’s doing and has a genuine concern about all his patients. Caring, friendly and does great work! He managed to save my tooth when I thought for sure I’d have to get it pulled! The staff is friendly and, as a bonus, they’re open on Saturdays!

I have been coming to this dentistry for almost 10 years, and I don’t think I could ever go anywhere else. The staff is friendly and so is my dentist. I would recommend this place to anyone. After so many years of coming here, I have no complains whatsoever!
