Dick and his beautiful wife, Mandie started franchising 3 years ago and now own 4 Yogurtland’s. Dick has been an Entrepreneur for many years, but froyo is by far the most FUN!

Parking: This is part of a square that includes In ‘N Out, Starbucks and Jersey Mikes. Parking hasn’t been an issue for me but suspect it could be busy on other days.
Atmosphere: Super casual.
Service: The folks at the front are nice.
Food: Typical fro yo place, but this one has excellent toppings and seems to be cheaper than ZoYo. I used to come here almost every Tuesday evening after teaching at a school in Mesa. The cost was always about $ 2.37 for a decent amount of fro yo.

Went in tonight to give another try. Sebastian was there with his friendly face. Welcomed me said he was glad I came back. Said they are working on the machines. Hope had reached out and apologised for the past problems and said they would fix them. Glad they kept there word. Tonight everything worked great. Store was clean as usual. Great new flavors. They will get all my business now. Hope they know what a gem Sebastian is.

Yogurtland is one of my favorite self-​serve froyo chains. I wish they had more locations in NYC (there are way too many 16 Handles and not enough Yogurtland).
Yogurtland has better loyalty program as well. When you register, you get a free 3oz coupon. You also get free 3 ounces on your birthday.
I love the balance of sweet and fruity froyo flavors and toppings. My favorites are the Taro and Toasted Coconut. You can really taste the flavors! I like to top it off with frosted animal crackers :)

I’ve tried a decent amount of yogurt places and just like with ice cream everyone is different. I used to have a favorite that was relatively close by but Yogurtland has them beat, which I suppose is unfortunate because now I’m driving farther for my yogurt! I love most of their regular flavors but what really keeps me coming back is their limited time flavors, usually seasonal. They have a board that tells you what’s coming up next which is good to plan around. They have a «club card» which I haven’t registered yet but sounds useful. I like that they offer coupons and discounts on certain days for college students. I’m not a toppings guy because I feel like it takes from the flavor of the yogurt but they have the same stuff as the other guys, maybe a little more. Their yogurt gets 5⁄5 but their employees bring them down a star. I haven’t met the same person twice and they usually have some off the wall comment to make to my girlfriend or myself. I guess I can’t expect much from part time college kids.

The employees here care about their jobs as much as I care about how many leaves are growing on the tree in my yard: not much. But that’s okay, I feel like a kid in an unattended candy store whenever I’m here!
Most times I’ve been here, there’s no one up front to greet me. In fact, there are usually no employees in sight for like 10mins. So what do I do? I sample to my heart’s content. Man, I’m such a fat kid at heart. I love this and I hate this for so many reasons.
I mean, c’mon kids, take pride in your job. You and I know you’re destined for much bigger things, but believe me, you learn the basics in these jobs. Start taking pride in everything you do, work hard, be present. This will literally be the easiest time in your life for awhile! I shouldn’t have to explain to a Yogurtland first timer how your store works. You should be. You should also be there to give me the stink eye when I’ve been over sampling. IT’S YOUR JOB!
As far as product: pretty standard for Yogurtland. Lots of toppings, lots of rotational and standard flavors. Trust me, I’ve had time to try most of them. Don’t forget to check in for the rad Unilocal deal!

I like this location because it always seems more spacious than other locations. The staff is pretty friendly and it’s located in a nice plaza. You can treat it like a dessert place especially if you came from In & Out Burger or any other food place in the plaza.
Flavors are great. I always love Yogurtland flavors and they seem to have the most flavors out of a lot of places I visit.
Usually, I go with coconut and pistachio flavor with some popping bubbles. Don’t forget to check in!

I had never had fro yo before (like this) and I am officially addicted. Great flavors and great topping selection. I literally think they have 1 employee working at a time, who’s only job is to tell you how fat you are by weighing how much your fro yo is going to be. I spend at least 6 bucks every time.

First time at this location. I used to go to Yogurtland in California quite often. The one in Tempe is very clean and nice, the staff are polite and friendly. They asked us if we wanted to try anything right away, we were able to try whatever we wanted to!
There was a little bit of everything, flavor-​wise, the only thing missing was a coffee flavor, other than that, everything was great!

I just LOVE great service! Especially when it comes from young «kids» because it seems like our current teen to twentysomethings have no concept of this «customer service» I speak of… I am a bit of a «Snottsdale» snob (was that redundant?) but I drive down to this Tempe location just for the great service and yummy treats and it never disappoints!
There is a closer Yogurtland to me in Old Town, but the service (or lackthereof), cleanliness (I am being sarcastic) and half stocked almost always out of everything selections (this parts true) keeps me from going there…

I have gotta say, this yogurt place is probably the most tasteless I’ve experienced. As the froyo trend has spread across the valley, I know that I have tried just about everything. The yogurt is typically the same-​tasting, but this place just didn’t do it for me. The best part about the experience was the service, though!

Why 5 stars. Because this place makes me happy.
In case you are reading this and aren’t a frozen yogurt regular. Yogurtland follows the similar concepts many other places have. You self serve your yogurt, add the toppings, and the price is based on weight.
With that said, The toppings Yogurtland offers aren’t as diverse as your Mojo yogurt, but the fruit is always fresh and there is a good variety. Where yogurtland wins hands down is with the yogurt flavors.
They always have some seasonal passport game going on where every 2 weeks they introduce new flavors for a limited time, and these are usually better than the regulars! My favorites are, pistacho, cocunut, strawberry lemonade, and vanilla.
I love this place. but I am a frozen yogurt enthusiast!

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love Yogurtland. In my opinion, they beat Mojo’s and all the other yogurt places hands down. They have more flavors, more toppings, fancy water (with strawberries floating in them), cool spoons, and yogurt prices that aren’t too harsh on my wallet. Also, I think they have a more ice cream-​like texture but since it’s yogurt, I can lie to myself that this might actually be healthier than the tub of ice cream I have sitting in the freezer. But all that aside, I give this location in particular, 1 star.
So sometimes at the Tempe location, about half the yogurt dispensers are down. Fine, it’s a high traffic location, machines need some care too. Whatever, I can deal with less flavors. Sometimes the toppings aren’t stocked. Sure, I don’t need any more than a scoop of this and a scoop of that. Again, not a big deal. Most of the time, the crew has yogurt stains on their shirts. Again, whatever. The machines are down, they need to be fixed. Yogurt accidents are inevitable. But this was the final straw.
BUGS. The tiny flying ones that love to swarm at you in the evenings. The ones with green, translucent wings. And other unidentifiable bugs that I just call gross. On all of the toppings. On the sneeze guards, on the spoons, in the toppings, on the fruits.
So now I drive the extra 5 or so miles to the Scottsdale or Chandler location to get my Yogurtland fix. I told you I love Yogurtland. Just not this location.

Wanted a cool treat today so I came in. No greeting from the guy behind the counter, no explanation on how the froyo process works (no sample cups??). Beyond that the froyo was tasty and the amount of toppings were decent. They were low on several, but had enough for us.
Overall I’d rather go to Menchies (better selection, more friendly), but this is closer so it’s a second best.

There is a little known fact that only very little people know, kids mostly, and I guess other people who like yogurt, but if you’re bigger than little, I just won’t count you. Yogurtland is the bees knees, and now that I let the cat out of the bag, everyone’s gonna wanna go to Yogurtland. I should have just kept my mouth shut. :-/
While Yogurtland isn’t exactly my normal stop for yogurt, I just can’t be ‘in the area’ without a quick stop in, they’re definitely my favorite, best tasting froyo around the Phoenix area. I think my favorite here is peanut butter, but it’s rare to see that flavor. There’s generally always a new and different flavor and no one around here asks questions when you need to ‘sample’ all the flavors to land on the one you want to fill your cup with. :-)
