Terminix is there when you need them to get rid of those pesky ants in your kitchen. The technician arrives and listens to you as you explain where the pests have been seen. The technician does a thorough search to find the source and then sprays the ant hill till they are no more.

I was scheduled for an apt today between 7 – 9. No one showed up, nor did anyone call. I called Terminix to find out what happened and was informed my appointment was changed to tomorrow between 12 – 2 because the technician called out. I understand things happen that is out of our control. What I don’t understand is not informing the customer. I explained to the supervisor that this apt. is for an indoor treatment which means I would need to be home for the apt. as well as know the time for the apt. I also expressed how this is horrible customer service that no one notified me of the change. Terminix has raised their prices again and guarantee a service that they are not providing. I spoke to their liaison person who couldn’t be any more indifferent. The person never apologized and made it very obvious she didn’t care. If this is how terminix is going to continue to treat their customers, I will find someone else who wants my business and values its customers.

Had been a customer with them from October 2011– April 2015 but had to cancel my service after they missed seeing bed bugs in my house on two occasions when I had specially asked them to check for them. This misdiagnosis ended up costing me over $ 3000 in missed work pay, doctor visits, and medications. I ended up going to two different dermatologists to figure out why I was getting red bumps over my arms and legs. Since Terminix said I didn’t have bed bugs I was telling the doctors that the bumps were not bed bugs and they went through different diagnosis on what it could be. It wasn’t until I called Burns Pest Elimination and had them do a check that they quickly found the bed bugs. To make Terminix even worse I called them 3 times to discuss with someone and each time was told they would look into it and call me back only to be called back once with a voice-mail left. I returned this persons call but never received a call back. Terrible customer service. I would NEVER recommend this company to anybody ever again.

Schedule appointment for today… NOCALLNOSHOW… When I called to find out whats going on. Find out it was not setup right! WTH. You show it in the computer but it’s not setup right. No help at all. «Makes me even more mad the guy called to make sure the time and day was still good». Took part of the day off to wait for this person. Guess I will be looking for another bug person =(

This review is about Terminix company in general. All this company really cares about is making money any way they can. They didn’t care about any pest problem and if you want a guarantee of their services you have to pay extra! I would get a call about every month asking me if I wanted to upgrade my service so that I could be «protected» and they always asked me «why» when I told them NO. During my last month of service they called me to inform me that the credit card they had on file had expired and I needed to provide them with the new expiration date. At the time I didn’t have the card with me and they said they would call back before my next scheduled service. Nobody ever called. And since I never gave them the new expiration, they didn’t even bother coming to do any pest control or even call! I have now switched to Alpha Ecological Pest Control and they seem to provide a much better customer service and their products are all kid/pet friendly, which is very important to me.
