The Tempe Public Library has one of the country’s largest children’s programs. Beyond storytime and book clubs, the library offers a relaxing café, computer classes, classes for using e-​readers, author visits and a variety of programs relevant to your life.

History

Established in 1896.

This is the sole library for the City of Tempe. There are small outpost libraries at Escalante Community Center, North Tempe Multigeneration Center and Westside Multigeneration Center.
