This is my second time I came and I can say WOW! Awesome food, I had a slice of pizza that tasted AMAZING! They don’t only sell pizza, they sell many types of different Italian food(lasagna, pasta) and sandwiches. They have good sweets too.

Great pizza, I’ve had the otto white pizza with italian sausage, it was the BOMB. Today I had a calzone with pepperoni, mushrooms, and onion, which was delicious. The calzone is HUGE, basically takes up a med pizza box, but they serve it with like an ounce or marinara sauce which is silly, especially if your sharing, so order extra! This place is legit.

I went last night and was not impressed. The girl undercharged us(and we gave a very hefty Halloween tip) then chased us down after leaving the store to say she gave us the wrong order and that she needed to charge us extra. She shouldn’t have asked us to pay extra for her mistake. This is the second time I’ve had poor customer service from the same short haired girl. I will not be returning to Ottos.

I’m gonna give this place 3 stars just because of the food. I ordered the homemade lasagna which came with a breadstick and salad for $ 12.99 I believe. Drinks are extra and you have the option of buying a refill for $ 0.50 extra. The lasagna was ok(see photo), the ends were burnt onto the plate and there wasn’t enough sauce on there to me. Also, the flavor was lacking and it had a lot of grease on the sides of it. It did come out hot though and there was tons of cheese on it which I liked. They were also generous with the portion size. It was HUGE! The salad and breadstick was also just ok. I could’ve done without for a lower price. My husband got 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and he rated it 3 out of 5 stars. I didn’t try it so I can’t comment on whether or not it was good. The staff were friendly, and the food came out fairly quickly. The place was a cute little cozy place with outdoor seating as well. I would definitely come back to try the pizza and spaghetti if I lived here.

This place is one of the few great pizza places around here. I went there couple of times, they have a lot of great choices. Once I had spaghetti meatballs and it was delicious, perfect seasoning on the meat and the sauce tasted fresh, toped with parmesan cheese. I had lots of other dishes, every time I go there I try a new order. So I would definitely come back again.

«Wonderful Crispy Crust!!!» Based on a recommendation I stopped in at Otto’s for pizza today. I arrived just as they opened and there were no other customers at that point. The young lady behind the counter greeted me with a smile as I entered. I could see Otto behind her by the oven, and was glad he was making my pizza today. There is no table service, so you order at the counter. I placed my order to eat there, and picked a table to sit at. My half Otto’s Veggie and half Otto Philly pizza was brought to me fairly quickly, and it looked delicious! The toppings looked fresh, it was piping hot, and the pizza crust around the edges looked puffy, crisp and light. I decided to start with the Otto’s Veggie side of the pizza. The crust was light and crisp and thin — even at the center of the pizza! I don’t recall ever having a crust like it. It was delicious! Beyond the crust, the balance of toppings was perfect, and the flavor was wonderful. When I finally ate my way to the puffy crispy crust at the edge, it was marvelous. That’s the part I don’t usually eat, but this was so good that I had to eat it. The Otto’s Philly side of the pizza was just as good as the Veggie side, with a nice balance of toppings. By the time I was having my third slice, I noticed that there was a line of customers from the counter all the way back to the door. I had been so absorbed with my pizza that I hadn’t noticed them. It was a good move to arrive when they first opened because there are only a few tables, and most everyone was eating there rather than ordering to go. With only Otto and one counter person working, I had to wait until everyone in line had placed their orders to be able to ask for a box to take the rest of my pizza with me. I think that the next time I’ll ask to have it served in the box so that when I’m ready to leave, I’m all set and don’t have to wait. All in all, I had a great lunch. I’d like to try some of the other items on the menu.

This pizza is the BEST. The crust is light and somehow crisp and soft at the same time. The sauce is heavenly. I do not have tons of disposable income but Ottos is worth the $ 10 extra dollars over the big chain pizza joints. I love adding feta to pizza so I get the Greek pizza and substitute tomatoes for black olives. Greek pizza roll is also good– just has a higher bread to toppings ratio. Get extra marinara on the side and you will be set. I would give Ottos 10 stars if I could.

A family owned pizza place that could be right out of Naples as it is owned by a true Italian family. The pizza is great and you can see right into the kitchen where you order and you can see everything is crafted by hand. I split a pizza last week with a friend and it was delicious — a safe place to come eat if you want to avoid a huge drink bill as they don’t serve alcohol — feel free to adjust your drinking to before or after your visit — just a nice place for good food and a chat with friends.:-)

I wish I could give Otto more stars. I’m leaving Tempe and will miss this place and the delicious Italian food. It’s not just the pizza that’s amazing but the sandwiches, the ravioli. the hot sauce. It’s all family owned and homemade. It’s delicious. Otto, your food is just delicious. This is a must try in Tempe.

I’m so glad I decided to try this place! It was a Friday night and I was debating whether I should order from the standard chain pizza restaurant, when my boyfriend suggested trying someplace new. So we turned to Unilocal and found that this restaurant was nearby and had good reviews. We ordered the XL Philly pizza. And embarrassingly, we finished off the ENTIRE thing. I tried to stop myself, but it was just so good! After two slices I was getting pretty full but I *had* to go in for a third slice. And I reasoned with myself that it was a thin NY-style crust so not as filling as a regular crust pizza. I liked that the crust, although thin, wasn’t crunchy or burnt at all. It was still soft and chewy the way I like it. My boyfriend commented that he liked the way the veggies on top of the pizza still had some crunch — not soggy like at some other pizza places. I think this is going to become one of our lazy day go-tos!

Usually pizza is pizza. However that is not the case when it comes to Otto’s. I ordered the medium«Rainbow Otto» for $ 11.99 and cheesy breadsticks for $ 4.99. «The rainbow» comes with ham, pepperoni, green peppers and black olives. I could have gone without the breadsticks as they were mediocre. However, I was especially impressed with the pizza. I would say otto’s has the best slice in all of Arizona. For excellent food the price is very reasonable. Plus they do not charge a delivery fee! I highly recommend Otto’s to anyone looking for an exceptional pizza.
