Description

Specialties

I’m a one man shop in downtown Tempe, when you call I answer. I have 30 yrs education and experience in ground up and tenant improvements. Most of the time i do commercial, but also multi-family, recreational and historic renovation, recently in Bisbee. I listen first, so call and tell me your ideas, especially before you buy or lease, I may be able to save you money. I always meet on site, no charge, it’s the best way to understand your project.

History

Established in 2003.

I finished full time school at ASU in 1989. My first project was Hance Park, Phx. I designed the hardscape area near the library. I moved to Palo Alto, Cal. –at Spencer Assoc. I designed the Bay Area Children’s Museum, new and historic renovations. It’s on a magnificent peninsula in the Bay! I worked in a small firm in N AZ for 3 years, where I lived in a cabin south of Sedona. Still great friends with the boss, Rennie. In 2001 I was hired to manage Versar, Inc office in Tempe. I designed 3 municipal pools for Scottsdale, Peoria and Gilbert. The office closed in 2003 and so began mARC Architecture. I almost everything; meetings, design, construction documents, city submitals and even answer the phone. I have a very professional group consultants that we can count on. I usually have one pro bono project on the boards, at this time the Sojourner Center for Abused Women, the renovation of a building.
