History

Established in 2001.

Appenzeller & Associate, CPA’s, P.C. (formerly known as Barbara Appenzeller, CPA, P.C.) began its operations in June, 2001. The firm has grown from a single CPA subletting space to a firm with two CPAs, one staff accountant and an administrator. We work very closely as a team so that we all understand the needs of the clients in order to insure someone is always available to assist you at any given time. We describe ourselves as a boutique. We will do as little or as much as you need to operate your business so that it can grow and prosper. We want to be a part of your company’s management so that you too become a part of our firm’s team.

Business Owner

Prior to my life as a certified public accountant I worked in law firms for 15 years. First as a legal secretary, then a paralegal and ultimately a legal administrator managing a firm of 60+ individuals. After attending 11 years of night school I began working in public accounting and obtained my license to practice as a certified public accountant in December, 1997. After working as a staff accountant and being a partner in two partnerships, I began my firm in 2001. My legal and managerial background provides me with unique experiences to bring to my client’s businesses.
