I have been coming to Dave’s for many years since I’ve relocated to the valley and I found him through this page way back when. I should mention something about myself, I am a stickler when it comes to car maintenance. I’m the one getting regular oil changes, stopping by for an inspection before a long drive, and I get the necessary replaced items at the right mileage. I’ve been to many shops and I know a good one when I find one.
This shop is amazing. They’ve helped me out of a few binds and offer low prices. For example, about a year ago my car was having a hard time starting and I feared I was going to have to get a new battery. I took my baby into the shop and through Eddie and his connections I was able to get a replacement battery from O’Reilly’s without having to pay full cost. You see, the original battery was purchased by the previous owners of my vehicle and had a warranty but O’Reilly’s doesn’t honor contracts to people who aren’t on the contract but Eddie found a way. And I had 60 dollars saved because of that.
I’ve broken down because of an unforeseeable spark plug issue after business hours before and had my car towed to All Tune and Lube. The next morning as soon as they opened I got a phone call asking what they could help me with. That meant so much to me. I’ve been in similar situations with other mechanics and they wait for you to call them and they may or may not pick up the phone. In addition, at All Tune when getting something major replaced when they say they will call at 2 to give me an update, they call at 2. Other shops can take many hours to finally forget to call you and only give you information when you call. That stuff drives me crazy.
It’s their dedication to excellent customer service that keeps me coming back. I’ve never been treated as an inconvenience. I’ve never once been given the run around or quoted something I didn’t need. Never once have I felt like I was a number at a corporate mechanic shop helping someone meet their quota.
Dave really cares about his establishment. He remembers my name. He is always looking for ways to improve my vehicle without breaking the bank. Even if they are only doing an oil change they are inspecting other parts of my vehicle and will let me know if anything seems off. Dave even offers complimentary cookies baked by his wife and he allows me to bring my two rambunctious Border Collies, Scully and Remy, to wait with me just because they like exploring new places.
I know I’ve found a good shop when I walk in the door alone and the first thing Eddie says to me is «Where is Scully?»

The customer service here is fantastic and most of all, they work efficiently and the quality is phenomenal. I’ve been to several other places prior to where the customer service or quality of care were lacking but that is definitely not the case here. I will be back again and again, highly recommended!

I love this place and these guys! Dave is such a jokester and extremely helpful. I’ve only had interaction with one of the mechanics, Esau, and he’s been really great! I was experiencing a noise, thought it could be either a hole in my muffler or needing a new muffler all together. Esau brought me into the garage to actually show me what was going on and that in fact I needed a replacement. The shop referred me to another place and I got it fixed. A few weeks later I went in for an oil change. Again, Esau (I really hope I’m spelling his name right), told me about other issues he ran into, that in the future I will have to get taken care. I like it here because of the quality work and the honesty. They won’t nickel and dime you or try to sell you things you don’t need. I’m SO happy I’ve found a great place to take my car to!

Where do I start… I called to ask what time would be best to drop my car off. Dave said I could bring it in now and that they weren’t busy. When I arrived my experience started with over a 20 minute wait to «drop-​off» my car as he helped a total of 2 customers ahead of me. After I dropped my car off I waited about 5 hours and had not received a call with an update or quote or anything. I had to call them back myself to get an update because Dave had taken down the wrong phone number and had called and left voicemails for my car on someone else’s phone. I dropped my car off at 9 AM and my car was finished at 3:30 PM. When I went to pick up my car I was greeted by Dave (The owner) with «Oh, you’re the one that wants our country in the hands of the communist» in reference to my Bernie bumper sticker. I couldn’t believe my ears, how incredibly unprofessional for a business owner to talk to a potential repeat customer like that directly? Will not be returning to this establishment.

It’s hard to know who to trust when your car needs work. We were so lucky to get to know Dave at All Tune. This guy gives great deals, and has never steered us wrong. He’s honest, he’s quick, and he’s a quality mechanic. Dave has been our go to guy for over three years. And there’s cookies!

I was so excited to bring my jeep here today. I made sure to get to my appointment right on time because the person I talked to was so nice so I really looked forward to coming (I can’t remember his name but thanks for your awesome customer service). I was in and out but little did I know I was at Just Brakes right next door! Those guys knowingly stole ATLs business due to me not realizing that they share a building. They even let me use the ATL « Unilocal» coupon! At that point I still thought I was at ATL. Don’t make the same mistake I did and blindly confuse Just Brakes with ATL. I felt so silly afterwards because the Just Brakes guys knew what they were doing but I didn’t realize till I talked to ATL on the phone shortly afterwards. I felt terrible but ATL was still so nice about it anyways and says it happens more than it should. It is so unfortunate that Just Breaks does business that way but it goes to show what a standup company ATL is. I look forward to my first visit to ATL in a couple months.

Dave is a great guy, and the shop really goes out of their way to build relationships! A plus in my book!

I’m not the type to write reviews, I have only visited this place a few times. I took my car to have an oil change on ¹²⁄₂₉ was told my car had a major oil leak. And the oil pan was cracked. Well within the next few days I see my drive way has a major fresh oil stain (never seen fresh oil from my car before) so today 1÷04÷16 I got the time to get under my car and check the screw where you drain the oil was loose cleaned the whole oil pan and no crack! This place was pricing my $ 500 parts and labor! Not only that but my oil is still dirty! This place is shit! I will NOT be going back!

I just moved to Tempe from another state, and within two weeks of arriving, my front brakes went out. I went to All Tune & Lube because it was close, and because of the great Unilocal reviews. I was amazed at the price and service provided here! Dave (the owner) was very knowledgeable and accommodating, not trying to oversell me, but yet providing reasonable and honest advice about what I should do given my situation. It was nice to find this caliber of mechanic shop in my new town. As I’m sure you know, it’s a great feeling. I very highly recommend this place.

When we first moved to Arizona, my boyfriend and I took our cars here for oil changes since it was close to our apartment in Tempe. After three years, we come here for any and all car maintenance, despite it being a little out of the way now that we are in Chandler.
The crew here has always been super helpful and accommodating. I really appreciate that there are no pushy sales tactics and no condescension towards people who don’t know much about cars (me). Furthermore, they have saved me a bunch of money by giving me second opinions on quotes from other mechanics.
Most recently, I had a stupid issue with my sentra that was easily solved by something as silly as getting a new gas cap. They could have taken advantage of my lack of knowledge of cars and charged me for a bunch of diagnostic work or needless repairs, but didn’t. I feel silly that it has taken me 3 years to write a review of this place because Dave and his crew are awesome. Thanks guys!

Not unhappy. Not amazed. They are the typical run of the mill try to charge you for a bunch of crap when you come in for an oil change. The guy at the front was a little creepy and overly accommodating like I’m some helpless damsel in distress. I was quoted $ 19.99 and then of course told 5 minutes after I committed to getting the service there that my car takes 7 gallons of oil instead of 5 and it would be $ 37.99. The technician Billy was really nice. The older white guy seemed to maybe be the owner who just kinda lurked around and made sure everyone was trying to sell people things they don’t need. The technician seemed nervous when talking to me all while dude was lurking and staring at us. They did get me in relatively quicker than anyone else could on a Saturday morning.

I have been here 3 times now and I am always greeted with genuine customer service and a smile. They always take great care of my vehicles and I’m never left unsatisfied.
There prices are more than affordable and your never left with a sour taste in your mouth like some places.
I recommend this places to my friends and family and they have all thanked me for it.
I’m a family man, and I trust them to repair my vehicles.
Give them a shot, you won’t be disappointed!

Dave was super help full with his knowledge of mechanics. The pricing seems to be right. Towed my brakeless vehicle in and drove it out the same day. Quick, quality service at a reasonable price.

I walked into this shop by happy accident thinking it was «Just Brakes» next door. Made an appointment to have oil changed and brakes just because the owner was so nice. Came back the next week and only $ 40 later I had my oil changed and recommendation to have brakes done at next oil change. They found a small amount of rust in on my brakes which caused the noise I was hearing originally and they said there wasn’t need to change them just yet. I was in and out in less then 1 hour.
I would recommend this shop as they also gave me an estimate for brakes under $ 200 when I’ve never spent less then $ 300. Thanks!!!

I went to all tune and lube to get an estimate on fixing my starter. All tune was fantastic, they were able to look at my engine and diagnose that it was not the starter that was bad, but the wire connecting the starter to the battery. They saved me so much money and heartache by simply going the extra mile. I can’t say in words how grateful I am.
I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good, honest mechanic.

I came here accidentally thinking they were «Just Brakes.» They were quick and didn’t try to charge me for unnecessary things. I was happy with their service. Dave was very helpful and so were his staff. This store will be my go to car place now.

I don’t write reviews often. I only do it when I feel like people need to know. This place was the worst. I just needed an oil change and they took part my whole engine. They tried to charge me for everything and then on top of that when the put it back together. The messed up a whole bunch of stuff. Then they wanted to charge me to fix it all. Biggest scam ever! Don’t go there!

Recently drive our little Ford Ranger in for an oil change, and diagnostic to find out why she isn’t accelerating with her previous exhilaration.
Get a call that she’s ready, so we go in.
Expensive oil change!!! $ 37???
And for the $ 70 1 hour diagnostic all we get is, «we think you need a new timing belt»
$ 70 for a «we think»
Pay the bill, walk out truck, put in the key, and she won’t start!
She’s never even hesitated before! Now she won’t start! Dave (owner) says she needs gas, but they charge $ 8.00 a gallon, so we proceed to walk, get gas, and return. Put the two gallons in, still won’t start! Now throwing a code.
Inform Dave once again it won’t start.
He has mechanics come try. Guess what? Still won’t start.
Without a word, no pleasantries, no nothing, they push our baby girl back into the bay, hook it up to something, and crank away on the starter. Still no start!
Dave says, your timing belt has had it!
You need a new one, and we can do it for just under $ 600!!! Mechanics push it back out to parking lot, still without a single word, drop the key in my hand and walk on by!
Tow our girl back home as soon as we can, neighbor mechanic sees what’s going on and cones over to help. Pops the hood and
Says try to start it it… Turn the key, he reaches in the a vroom! Starts right up!
It’s the fuel pump!
5 min, and he’s got her running, and an actual diagnostic!
Hmmm… Sounds like we almost fell into a scam!
So let me get this right… She always started and ran before we came here. Now that you worked on her she won’t start, and it gonna $ 600 for something you said only 20 minutes ago «you think it the timing» which you already charged us $ 70 for?!

They told me that repairs for an oil leak would cost upwards of $ 1500 in JUST labor. It took about 3 minutes for the guy to drop the «I’ve been doing this for 15 years» line too.
I went and got some Lucas oil and it virtually solved my problem overnight –_–

I’ve taken my two cars here for over a year. During that time they have been unable to fix my ABS issue and barely nursed my a/​c through the summer. I had already decided to take my cars elsewhere for big problems, but thought they could handle routine maintenance like an oil change. One of my cars was in less than a month ago for its oil change and yesterday on my way home from work I noticed my water gauge moving toward hot. Once the car had cooled down I popped the reservoir cap and observed brown/​orange gunk. It was disgusting. I reviewed my receipts and did not see any recommendations for a flush. Topping off fluids is a advertised and billed as standard during oil changes, however, this obvious problem was not brought to my attention. Luckily, I noticed my gauge before it was too late.
I will NEVER bring back my cars to this shop.
