ABC Bartending Schools

ABC bar tending school was a really great experience! The instructors (Joe and Susan) were both funny and awesome! I learned a lot because of them.
The training helped me to get confidence behind the bar! 40 hours spending in the school were really worth it!
I recommend everyone who wants to learn how to be a bartender to go to this school. The best school ever!!!

Got a ticket. Bummer. Took a class to make it go away, bummer again. About $ 250 when all was said and done but still have my license intact and now have the ability to spot those cameras around town… I will say this… I learned a lot. About driving safety and risk factors that we just kind of forget to think about in our hectic lives. I am truly a better driver thanks to this course. Highly recommend if you get the dreaded flash in your rearview mirror…

ABC bartending school was a great experience. The instructor (Michele) made the class fun and informative. This is a dramatic career change and the (40) hour course helped greatly with confidence. The rate of the course was reasonable and the facility was clean. The bar set up was very realistic. Also the open practice time is invaluable. Would recommend to anyone new to bartending!

This school was great! Very fair pricing for what you will be taught. The teachers were great and the learning environment was fun and easy to learn.
They want people to get enrolled in the classes, so they let me join in for a sit down class just to see what it would be like. I joined that day. After you pass the test they provide job leads for you which I find very helpful! I would highly recommend taking classes at ABC Bartending School in Tempe, AZ.

The Facts About ABC Bartending School
1. As of now, they do not offer morning classes anymore for the bartending course.
However, class is available Mon-​Thurs 1−5pm or 6−10pm and Sat/​Sun 9−5pm
2. The bartending course is under 300 $ The cost covers tuition and books. NO HIDDEN COSTS, etc!
3. They are licensed by the state board of education and you can get title 4 certification. They work with the All Star Alcohol Awareness Association and are certified trainers for the DLLC certification.
4. Their job leads are updated weekly so you don’t see the same ones.
5. It’s true you can come into practice wherever and if you should move to another state and there is an ABC there, you can go there to take refresher courses too.
6. They return your tests and certificates promptly.
7. They are the only school on the west that teaches the Aloha POS class. It is 99 $ but people don’t see the value of the POS system if it’s included in the price anyhow.
8. The book has been updated a new version is now available.
ABC also offers classes in the Poker, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Carnival Games, and Baccarat Games. All the instructors are currently working as table game dealers and are very knowledgeable as to what is required when you audition at the local casinos since some have worked as a hiring manager. They will at all costs help you to land a job. You can come in to do mock interview/​auditions and even come in for one on one resume building.

I started the ABC Bartending in Rancho Cordova, CA but had to leave to come to AZ — I transferred to ABC Bartending in Tempe, AZ and I have to say I am very happy with the instruction and the school over all.
Not being a big drinker I didn’t know much about the different drinks and liquors this school helped me feel like I can go out get a job in this field and have something to offer a perspective employer.
While they cant teach you every drink or get the job for you — That’s up to your interview skills and how aggressive you look for a job — Just like any other field but now I personally feel I have the edge over someone just coming in off the street and think they know what they are doing because they read a book on Bartending.

This is a really great school. The owners are very friendly and the instructors (JT and Shellie) are the best!
Really enjoyed hanging out there and learning how to make drinks and navigate my way behind the bar. They also get you leads after to help get a bar job. I would recommend them to anyone. It is a 40 hour course and it is very fun and affordable.
