We offer our clients a one stop shop with everything at a great price including Free Raw Footage on a drive for all couples!

We always love to make our clients happy and make sure the video comes out in the style they vision. Offering Short highlight videos is one of our best ways to show your guests a recap of the night without watching 6 hours of footage! But don’t worry! We also provide our clients with all raw footage for free and 3 DVDs!

History

Established in 2012.

Cody Newkirk Started Newkirk Productions in 2010 creating videos for businesses and personal projects for clients in the Orange County and Temecula area. After a huge increase in clients Cody tried shooting weddings, shooting his first video for free he instantly gained respect in the wedding community as he was referred and recommended highly from almost every costumer. Shortly after building his resume he decided to create a one stop shop for wedding videos making it simple and affordable for anyone! The Wedding Memory packages were created from what cody believes is the necessary items for any wedding video. In these packages you will find nothing but top quality and the necessary add ons needed all included in one reasonable price!

Cody Newkirk was born in Tarzana, California in 1990 to Richard and Pamela Newkirk. At the age of twenty-​one Newkirk now resides in Huntington Beach, California and is attending Orange Coast College to obtain his accreditation in videography development.

From a young age Newkirk was fortunate enough to be exposed to the behind-​the-​camera environment of a studio set giving him the opportunity to absorb everything first-​hand. He was, and still is, exposed to the on-​film side of the industry as well with minor roles in many commercials, sitcoms, and feature films. With this all-​encompassing exposure of the industry, Newkirk has gained a unique perspective of working in front of and behind the camera needed to produce a great video.

At the age of sixteen Newkirk began starting his business ventures by developing his own business concepts in the Riverside and Orange County areas. Starting these businesses at a young age has helped develop his skills in leadership and professionalism.

After researching a number of videographers for our wedding within our budget, we found Cody. We spent a few hours looking through all of his previous work and we were definitely impressed with how he artfully incorporated the use of a drone as part of the wedding videos. Setting up a meeting was easy and painless. Cody from the Wedding Memory did a fantastic job capturing the events of my daughter’s wedding. The drone shots above the ceremony and reception site made our video so memorable. From the getting ready shots through the dancing, the highlights Cody captured will make this day last forever for all of us. And for the brides, this is something you MUST include in your budget because the day goes by so fast and you don’t always get to see all the nuances that video capture. Could not be anymore amazed with the work that he did for our wedding. We hired him after seeing the amazing work he did at a friend’s wedding and how all of the work he did was not only put together in amazing fashion, but he did it all without being front and center of everything. When it came to our wedding it was the exact same. He was pretty unnoticeable throughout the ceremony and reception, yet he still managed to capture every little detail and every moment that really made our wedding special. We got the video yesterday and cannot stop watching it. I have a family member who is a wedding planner and I recommended him to her for any and every job, which I would do for anyone looking for a videographer.

We are living in Florida but got married in California so we had to plan a lot of things sight-​unseen. We weren’t planning on having a videographer but as I was scrolling through my wedding venue’s preferred vendors, I stumbled across one of Cody’s videos and I HAD to have him. I emailed him pretty late at night and he quickly responded and we had our date reserved in just a few minutes. He was so easy to work with from that day through the end of our wedding. Communication was quick, he answered all of my crazy pre-​wedding questions and on the day of, it was so great to have someone so on top of everything. If I could give six stars, I would! My husband and I hired The Wedding Memory to film our wedding. Cody Newkirk was so friendly and professional, and worked with me despite some initial poor communication on my part (planned the wedding out of state). We received our wedding video less than a month after our wedding! And it was phenomenal! The editing is great, and he captures special moments really beautifully. The day of the wedding, I barely knew he was there because he wasn’t too invasive, but he still managed to capture the day in an incredible way. His rates are fair, and you get what you pay for and more (including drone footage of your venue, which is stunning). I definitely recommend hiring The Wedding Memory!

If you don’t use Cody as your videopgrapher, you’ll be sorry! When you hear that you’re «only» getting a 10 minute edited video you might be skeptical as was some of my family… until they saw it! It’s amazing! In that time he was able to capture all of the details that I worked so hard for leading up to the wedding and didn’t get to enjoy the day of because I was so busy and overwhelmed as the bride. He got the favors, our guestbook, the table settings, our friends having a great time at the cocktail hour etc. And of course he got the most important parts — mine and my husbands entrance to the ceremony site, clips of our vows, the bridal party’s entrance to the reception, our first dance, the dance with our parents, cutting the cake. all of this in under 7 minutes! I watch it at least once a week and all of our family and friends have said how beautiful it is as well. I highly recommend the drone, our guests thought it was awesome, and we have an amazing view of the property where we spent our entire wedding weekend. It also comes with an extra shooter which was great to have. You get so much more coverage that way! Cody was professional and courteous, a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process!

My wife and I got married recently and hired Cody to film our wedding day. I found Cody online pretty last minute and he was more than happy to accommodate us on a short request. Our wedding was pretty intense with two ceremonies for a catholic and hindu wedding along with the reception. Still, Cody managed to capture the entire day and especially some nice rare moments that will forever be cherished. The wedding video was awesome and I really like how the music we selected tied into the scenes. What can I say about these guys? Well for starters the owner Cody saved my mothers wedding to my step father by accepting our job two days before the wedding when the other guy had to cancel. I have hired Cody Newkirk to shoot many different videos for me, but when I recommended him to my best friend for her wedding video he blew me away! Not only did he make it simple to get everything done as I paid for the video as a gift, but he was very professional and made everything easy on her. He showed up on time and captured the day without us even noticing him shooting. It was awesome to watch the video with her as I saw tears roll down her face realizing this video is one she could show to her kids and grand kids.
