Tino has been in the construction service industry since he was 16 years old and was the youngest certified welder in the state of California when he was 18 years old. He went on to get his first contractors in 1987 at the age of 22. Tino started The Carpet Doc because he saw a gap in the industry where customers previously thought that they had to replace the entire room when in fact sections of carpet can be repaired at a fraction of the cost!
