Ricardo Feliciano Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

My son is new to jiu-​jitsu and has been training with Pancho and Alex and Hendos gym. My kid is an all around athlete and dominates at every day sports like baseball and football; but training with these guys with has opened an entire new outlook on working and training to increase skill. My kid is 7 years old and loves the challenges and detication Alex and Pancho give him and the other kids. My son looks forward to every class. 5 years ago I decided to start training martial arts, I tried just about every gym in the area, and for some reason I could still never get the hang of Jiu Jitsu, then I went to Team Quest, met Pantcho and that all changed, there are no easy rounds at Dan Henderson AFC, Everyone is a skilled and game practitioner, the training partners and environment are both equally awesome, and newcomers are always welcomed with open arms, which makes training under Pantcho great.

Coach Ricardo «Pantcho» is more than an amazing Brazilian Jiu-​Jitsu coach, he is also a great competitor as well. He knows how to breakdown the highest levels of BJJ as well as teach a brand new student the fundamentals. Coach Ricardo Feliciano is a 2^nd Degree Black belt who competes and coaches for the Checkmat Team at Dan Hendersons Fitness. He is in my opinion the best instructor in the IE and right up there amongst the best instructors in the world.

Ricardo «Pantcho» Feliciano is the best professor around here. I’ve taken my son to him for nearly 4 years and Pantcho doesn’t just instruct Jiu jitsu. He actually knows each student individually and how they roll. This is why his students are so effective in tournaments because he coaches the individual according to their style. My younger son started about 3 years ago and my daughter started last year. I recommend Pantcho as anyone’s coach any age or level. He is passionate about Jiu Jitsu. Pantcho is a competitor as well as a full time instructor. Jiu jitsu truly is his life. Being a competitor really helps our competition team in ways other gyms cannot. I’ve been to several competitions for my kids and Pantcho is friends with the whole Jiu jitsu community and respected by all the teams. Pantcho is an incredible professor and amazing competitor! When your teacher actually competes and brings home the gold almost every time, it gives you the student a great deal of confidence in his knowledge and experience. You always have to watch out for those imposters who say they earned their black belt but don’t back it up with evidence of their abilities.
In addition to Pantcho’s extensive background in competition, he’s an excellent teacher. He recognizes when you need to be pushed and when you don’t. He is very quick to give you personal attention when he sees you «not getting it» or when you don’t understand the technique. His classes are structured with young adults, women, and men in mind.
Not only are his classes an incredible workout, but they give you a strong sense of confidence in the event you need to use BJJ in the real world. If you are even thinking about a martial art or fitness class you are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t try one of Pantcho’s classes.

Pantcho is a great instructor. I’ve been coming to him for 3+ years everyday. Always fun learning new Jiu Jitsu techniques and him helping me improve. I drive from Escondido to Temecula just to learn from him. If you are in the area go to one of his classes. You will not be disappointed.

This dude is legit. Whether you want to be a casual jujitsu-​ite or a worldbeater he is the coach for you. He has helped athletes like Dan Henderson and Tarec Saffiedine win global titles, he has helped children win national rankings, and above all else he is one of the most friendly people you’ll ever meet. He has helped make me one of the most dominant blue belts in the UFC and not to mention what he’s done for my wife’s jits game. As a matter fact a silverback gorilla walked into the gym the other day starting trouble and he handle it. I mean he choked that monkey out. It was very impressive. Anyways the moral of my story is he is an incredible coach who has helped countless people meet their fitness and athletic goals.

Pretty much the best place to train and with one of the most decorated teams in the world. I’ve been training with this group of fine individuals for over 5 yrs and love every minute of it. Super stoked!!!
