The BEST automotive service we have been to. Honest, quick and very trustworthy. They are always speedy and diagnosis and repair in a timely manner. They stand behind their work.

I had to get a smog check done on my 2005 Nissan Frontier so my wife took my vehicle to a local smog check place (See my OTHER review to get the info on that place). The car failed smog because the check engine light was on. (Why did they run the check if they saw the check engine light light still has me a little miffed). They decided that they’d charge me $ 130.00 for a diagnostic and that cost WOULDN’T go towards the cost of repairs. So, I opted out and started looking for another place to take my truck. I kept on hearing from friends and from Unilocal about Ras’s so I had my wife bring my truck here. First, he charged a helluva lot less than the other place, AND, the cost of the diagnostic went towards any repair. Well, a few hours after my wife dropped the car off, she calls me at work to speak to Ras. He told me that one of the failure codes indicated a bad Catalytic Converter (or 2). He then told me that he’d contact the Nissan dealer in Temecula to see if the truck was still under warranty. It was… FOR ONLY 4 MORE DAYS. Ras went ahead and set up a meeting with me and the Nissan for the warranty repair. The cost…$ 2,000. Yes, Ras saved me $ 2,000 by checking on a warranty that I had ABSOLUTELY no idea existed on this «05 truck. He did this INSTEAD, of charging me for the repairs himself!!! In all my years, I don’t think I’ve ever come across a mechanic with this level of integrity and desire to save his customers money. After he performed a tune up for me, I took the truck to the dealer and they completed to replacement of BOTH CATALYTIC CONVERTERS (Shout out to John Gordon and Mark for the great service from Quality Nissan).
Needless to say… Ras’s Auto Repair and Tire has a new lifelong customer. My wife felt very comfortable there and has also committed to Ras’s. Definitely the best auto mechanic shop in town!!!

Whether it’s a one ton dually or an econobox, Ras looks at each vehicle carefully and lets you know what your options are. He has saved my wife and I thousands of dollars by fixing problems carefully and economically. If he doesn’t have an answer right away, he will work on it and let you know instead of trying to BS you.

Ras’s is where to go! He knows his stuff and i have not once felt overcharged. He was very honest with me and my boyfriends vehicles and went out of his way to fix my boyfriends truck. My BF had taken is truck to two other mechanics to try to get it smogged and all of them told him they fixed it, but with no prevail his truck wouldnt smog! Ras tried too and when he couldnt get it to smog either, he took it over to a performance shop to get down to the problem… no extra charge. The whole family goes to him now…

Ras is, by FAR, the BEST mechanic in town. He’s been my family’s mechanic for longer than I can remember. I’ve had a few clunkers in my day, but this place does a great job of repairing cars quickly, inexpensively, and WELL. He’s also super friendly.
