Petra Imports

I drove to Petra Imports to look at their 6’x12’ goals. The employee told me how great the goals are and how people buy this product and are all happy about it. He then mentioned the top bar for the goal bends. I then said okay I will buy the goals but can I build it in your warehouse facility. He said sure. I build the goals with my cousins and the bar bends as he described however the goal is no longer is a 6 foot goal. The employee then tells me to use different screws. I tried the screws he mentioned which did not come with the packaging. There was still a bend, I then tell the representative I wanted this to work I even tried the suggestion you made and it still does not work. He then responds back all sales are final. I told him that is why I wanted to install this here so I do not have to drive to LA to find out this is not to my expectations. He tells me I’m sorry I can not help you, you wanted goals and that is what I am giving you. I told you there was a bend and you will see a bend with any goal you buy. I tell him that is not true I played with various goals that do not have bends. His response, you get what you paid for what did you expect $ 300 goals for the price of $ 120.00. I told him the price is irrelevant I’m paying for a product that is as specified that bend does not make is a 6 foot goal. He then offers me a bigger goal for the same price of two goals. I tell him that will not work and he gives me two soccer balls and tells me that is all I can do. I warned him this type of customer service will affect his business if he does not give me a refund. He still told me no. I leave with my two cousins and twenty minutes later he tells me he thought about it and he will get in trouble with his boss but he will give me a refund if I want. Why would you change your mind while I am twenty minutes away! I go back to pick up the cash, my issue is not with the refund but the terrible customer service, bad product and most importantly my time.
