My Day Tan & Spa

Well sadly I’m the last one to find out that this business is closed. I had been here previously and had an ok massage but an excellent facial and unfortunately bought a 3 treatment «deal». I only used one and now they are closed leaving me holding the bag! What a bummer — they literally took all our money and ran! Not cool!

I also prepaid for a 1 hour European facial and didn’t get my money back. Not good business practices.

Passed by the location yesterday only to see that doors are locked and the sign taken down. The business next door says the spa closed three months ago. I, too, have a deposit for services that were not returned to me. Maybe I should contact the Better Business Bureau about them. If I don’t get my money back, I know karma will take care of them.

I had deposit on services. Went to business in person to make appoint. Doors locked and clean out. Business closed. Me and my friends had money on deposit and didn’t get it back. Criminal. I will report the theft.

How do I get a hold of this place? No one answers the phone and I can’t make an appt without a phone call. Does this business exist? Do I have to drive down to make an appt? Purchased a Groupon for them but pretty sure it was a scam.

My wife was going to go back, but after reading everything about the doors being shut… think we will hold off until the smoke clears. Too bad. Weird thing is that Groupon is still offering a deal for the business… wonder when they will get smart? Anybody know what’s going on?

Does anyone know where to find HARMONY? Would live to find her for a facial.

Had money on deposit which was not returned upon closing. Who does that. Very bad business practice. Class action. It appears many have had their deposits taken.

Are they out of business? The phone number doesn’t work anymore. It’s a bummer because I have services on my account that I have paid for and am now unable to use because there phones do not work.

Awful customer service! Extremely rude and unprofessional! Never had a service done because of how bad the phone experience was!

The salon was clean and the staff were friendly. The location is tucked away so its easy to overlook. I had a good facial and the esthetician was knowledgeable about skin care. She had great advice for my skin problems and she customized the products she used to address my skin type.

This is my second review for this place. I am honestly surprised by the poor reviews from other people.
I have been coming here for a few years and regularly make appts with Harmony for facials. I have never had a bad experience, and they always go out of their way to help me with appts and call me with reminders. I do feel badly that others have not enjoyed their experience, however, I still highly recommend this place and will be having over in an hour for my facial :)

I am giving 1 Star because there is not an option for «Zero» Stars. This place is disgusting, Harmonie was unprofessional, and the mother who is the owner is completely rude. This was supposed to be a memorable experience for both my best friend and I in honor of my 40^th birthday. Instead it was as if we walked into the Twilight Zone. Harmonie used latex like gloves. My best friend and I have NEVER had a facial where someone used gloves. The gloves were rough on our faces and felt rubbery and gross. At one point in time, Harmonie sneezed onto her gloves and continued massaging my face. Never cleaning her gloves, nor replacing them. I hope I don’t acquire a rash. It was one of the most DISGUSTING things I have ever experienced. Also, it is obvious Harmonie is a smoker as her breath reeked like cigerattes. I should have known this place was going to be a horrible experience given that as soon as I walked into the facial room, the hand towel where you rest your head was dirty. When I brought it up to Harmonie’s attention, she rudely responded and raised her voice at me saying «I just changed it.» Instead, of just saying «I’m sorry, let me take care of that for you.»
By the way, I think the higher rating stars are coming from friends and family. Don’t trust the 4 Star ratings.
I don’t recommend this place. Don’t spend your money, not even through a «good deal» on Groupon. It”s not worth it. Worst place in Temecula. PERIOD.

I have gone here a few times before with a Groupon purchase for Mystic Tan. When I was done they asked if I wanted to purchase a package of mystic tans. I believe it was 3 for $ 50. Well I went in on ³⁄₂₀ to get a Mystic Tan and the older lady asked me if I was a groupon customer or if I had purchased it separately. I told her
I’ve done both. She went to a tiny cupboard and was shaking bottles of the Mystic Tan solution. She probably shook like 5. That should have raised a red flag. When she took me to the booth I asked for a towel and she said you don’t need one. Once at home packing for my trip I kept waiting for the color change to happen. It NEVER DID. I’m pretty sure she gave me a previously used cartridge. Since I left the next morning for a week I wasn’t able to go back and show her. Honestly I don’t think she would care and nor would she have made it right. Every time I’ve been there it’s been a ghost town. Not surprised. Probably won’t stay open much longer. Bad customer service, bad products and dirty. Save your money and go somewhere else.

My Day Tan and Spa is one of the best places to get a facial and a massage! I Absolutely LOVE this place! The environment is relaxing and welcoming; it gets you mentally prepared to be pampered. Harmony, the esthetician, has the best technique that I’ve ever experienced. My face afterwards is always glowing, renewed and reenergized. I see a huge improvement in the quality of my skin when I go consistently to Harmony. I found this business gem in Temecula about (3) years ago and have been going there ever since! Not only because of their services, but the staff is so friendly, welcoming and the best at their job.

Love my spa day with Harmony and Stacie! I would highly recommend all services! Michele is super friendly and always accommodating to my needs. Also, love the cute clothes and purses! Make it a «must do» for facials, massage, and tanning.

I have been going to My Day Tan and Spa for about a year or so now and its so nice to have such a great place close to my house. I have had some expensive facials in the past that were okay from other establishments and I am very pleased with the facials Harmony provides. She keeps a very clean work area and is very thorough. My face always feels so clean and shiny afterwards. My Day Tan and Spa is very affordable I have also had massages from there that were very relaxing. Overall I believe if you are looking for a place casual and not expensive I would recommend going to see these lovely ladies.

We are so lucky to have My Day Tan and Spa in Temecula. When you walk in the door you receive a warm and friendly greeting. The establishment appears very clean. This is not a resort spa with the jacuzzis and saunas and pools. This is a place where you can receive a wonderful massage for an amazingly low price. It allows me to feel comfortable treating myself to a massage every other week which I would never do at the pricier spas. Once you enter your private spa room, Jen asks you how much pressure you want for your massage. At the pricier spas you would never get this kind of treatment but would be paying extra for anything beyond a Swedish massage. Jen pays special attention to any area where you may need extra work. At the end of the massage I walk out feeling relaxed, and I make sure I schedule my next appointment.

You get what you pay for. I just went today for a facial and massage with a friend which cost $ 50 each person. First I had my facial which wasn’t worth the $ 25. The lady is a smoker which is annoying for a nonsmoker. She used the same towel on me to wipe off 3 sets of lotions and just dipped it in water and put it back in the hot towel machine (I checked when she left the room so this is a fact not an assumption). The mister was set on a timer which is right next to my ear and made a continuous rattling noise.
Next my massage, the girl did a decent job. It was worth the $ 25. I felt a little more exposed than normal but otherwise a good $ 25 massage.
Overall, I won’t be back for «spa» services. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A FACIAL!!!

Don’t go here! You’ll only be disappointed. The customer service is horrible. Bought a deal on groupon. What a waste! You have to make an appointment for a spray tan! For something that takes only moments to do, this is a really stupid policy! I smell laziness!
Here are some several things I experienced…
1-​The room I used had cleaning supplies crammed in on the side in the corner which looked trashy in my opinion. This is suppose to be a spa!
2– the bottle of lotion you use to prevents blotches was near empty therefore the pump unscrewed. Had to take the wand out to be able to get any lotion out of it! Disgusting, considering how unsanitary being it’s a public business!
3– The machine must have been broken or the bottle of tanning solution was empty! Felt like I got sprayed but after I left, the tan never developed! You’ll notice if you ever use that particular tanning booth, the numbers below are missing. Which showed me how old that unit is. It obviously wasn’t in working order.
Again, don’t go here! Go to Perfect Tan over on margarita! They sell deals on Groupon as well! 2 for 25. They’re sweet, professional, clean AND you can walk in at any time! Their business hours are way better too!
