Local Bug Guy

A co-​worker referred us here and I’m so glad he did! These guys are awesome! The first appointment was so thorough; they spent a good 20 – 30 minutes walking around the property looking at everything. Really made me feel like he cared about what he was doing – he wasn’t just there to spray and get paid.
Now we’re on the 3 month schedule; I love that they email a few days in advanced so we can make sure pets are inside. I just can’t believe how stress free and easy they have made everything.
Our old pest control place was very shady; they would wait until we were past the 90-​day period and then charge us the full amount as if we were a new customer. Not cool.
Can’t recommend The Local Bug Guy enough! You won’t be sorry if you use them!

I have been using the Local Bug Guy for almost 2 years. The ant problem was issue inside and outside the house. We used Terminix for a year before calling the Local Buy Guy but the problem persisted. The chemical from Terminix did not work for our house in Temecula. We finally called the Local Buy Guy and they came out right away. They sprayed inside and outside the house that first time and the ant problem was gone in a week. I can’t tell you enough about this company. They are professional and they are effective on bugs. They also have great customer service/​follow ups.

I love this service. We had really bad case of ants, every spring and summer our house would be invaded with ants and they’d be in the closet crawling on the bed in the microwave the cabinets where the food was pantries everything you name it ants everywhere! ! So I decided to call the local bug guy because I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and I couldn’t imagine ants crawling all over my daughter so I decided to give it a try after reading all the reviews. December it will be a year since I gave birth to my daughter and ever since I have not seen one ant in this house. I can now say I finally enjoy spring, summer and winter with no ants.

Spiders, ants, and bugs were invading our house when we first moved in. In fact, one night while we were sleeping, I kept feeling something going across my face, and I would wake up with little bites all over.
So after finding several black widows, and then my cat ate one we called the our Local Bug Guy. He scheduled us immediately, and came and sprayed the entire outside of the house, the garage, and got the cob webs and any critters he happened upon. After that, we saw a few more, and as he said, it got a little worse because the house was left empty for so long. So he came back out and treated again, and treated a couple different areas and gave us some recommendations to do in the house. Since then, we have had very few spiders in the house and it has been 3 years. We have had no problems with ants or spiders because of the continued treatments by the bug guy. Thank you Bug Guy.

When we moved back to the area the pest service we had used for years was no longer in business. No worries! Read reviews on local pest control companies and was very impressed with the reviews on Local Bug Guy.
I am not disappointed in my choice. James and Julie are great. Julie worked magic and got James out here on the double to keep the ants from walking away with our home! When I needed a repeat service James was here super quick (is he hanging around outside waiting for me to call???).
Very professional, very courteous, very personable. I will recommend to anyone looking for service.

It’s our first summer living in Temecula and I thought I could handle the ant problem on my own, but for two weeks they kept finding a new way in and I couldn’t deal anymore. Called them on the weekend when the offices were closed, but they called back Monday morning and were able to get out to our house the very next day (probably would’ve been sooner if I hadn’t missed their first call back). The treatment was very effective — they said it could take up to 7 days, but it seemed to work pretty much instantly. Also a surprisingly affordable service, and no pressure or up-​selling. I’m now able to sleep at night!

The Local Bug Guy is possibly the best household service company I’ve ever dealt with. We have had them out for about a year now and the bugs have stopped coming inside. On several occasions the bugs decided to mount an impromptu invasion. One call to Local Bug Guy and they were out to spray within 24 hours. Use them and feel confident that they will get the job done!

The most professional company out there, no up-​selling no BS, they do what they say they will do. We have huge ant and spider problem, one call one visit and POW gone!

Brent & the entire Local Bug Guy team are AMAZING!!! Prompt, friendly & always willing to help out with all things bug related! We originally called after Brown Recluse & Black Widows invaded our home & especially our kids toys/​playhouse! Not only did he immediately come out hearing kids were involved, he also gave our kids a great hands on lesson on where spiders live. We recently spied a few ants, one call to Brent & they were gone! This company is the BEST! We needed to hire someone fast to get rid of our ant problem and had a preference for a local company. My first positive interaction was with Julie, who could not have been nicer and more accommodating to fit us in. She was so pleasant to talk to and took her time in explaining why ants come in the house and what they do to treat it. The next day, Jim came out to spray and take care of the ants. He was also extremely nice, patient and thorough in explaining to us what he was doing and what we needed to do afterward since we have little ones and a dog. Truly exceptional company with wonderful service. We are so glad that we hired them!

This is a great company that truly cares about their reputation and customer service. Julie and Brent are responsive and professional… Julie goes WELL out of her way to try to accommodate appointments and return message or emails. She is fantastic! Wayne is our «bug guy» and he is the best! Patient, professional and works so hard to resolve any pest issue around my schedule as quickly as possible! We had a serious ant problem, and this team does not give up! Wayne got it handled and continues to follow up and check-​in between our regular visits to ensure everything is still going well. I would most definitely recommend this company to any of my friends or neighbors!

We are in between our quarterly sprayings but we had some ants come into our kitchen and dining area. We sent Brent an email Sunday night and he came out Monday to do a free re-​spray. It’s Tuesday morning and already the ants are gone!
Brent provides such great service and he’s always around with a friendly attitude. We’re happy to have him as our Local Bug Guy!

The Local Bug Guy is awesome! We got tired of fighting a losing battle with ants a few summers back and hired Brent. Since he’s been our pest control guy our house has been ant and spider free. Brent is really professional and very patient and kind. He takes time to make sure you’re completely happy with your service and answer any questions.

This company is awesome! If you have bug problems I highly recommend them. The entire staff is courteous and goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. We haven’t had a bug problem since hiring them.

Local Bug Guy has been taking excellent care of our home and yard. Wayne is always professional, courteous, and prompt. Our quarterly services seem to handle most of our pest problems, but even calls in-​between services are answered and taken care of immediately. Never a bad experience here!
