They were absolutely amazing!!! We were planning a belated reception due to me being in the military and visited Temecula. The minute we walked in for our visit, I fell in love! We were greeted by Enrique Alvarado as our special events planner and he was amazing!!! This post is late but I will defiantly go back. My family and Friends loved everything about our reception and food they left very happy! From California and love wine, this place was special and everyone was great from start to finish especially Enrique!

Wife and I stayed here on the Travelzoo offer. Great deal! We enjoyed our stay so much we joined their wine club. Room was spacious and view from balcony was a nice bonus. Breakfast was good. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the décor was a little dated. Will be back for sure!

Great hotel and winery in Temecula. We purchased a $ 249 deal on Travelzoo, which featured a two night retreat in a vineyard view room, a daily free evening wine tasting hour for guests, daily complimentary breakfast with all you can drink Mimosas, a welcome bottle of wine, free WiFi and parking. It’s centrally located to all the other wineries in the area and relatively affordable to catch a Über to Old Town. When we checked into our hotel, the front desk representative, Tim, was extremely accommodating and helpful. He explained everything that was included in our Travelzoo package clear and concise. The room was slightly outdated, some would call it a classic style of décor, but it was really spacious. It included a huge French villa style marble bathroom with a his & her sink and an expansive Roman jacuzzi tub. There was also a gas fire place, a mini fridge, and the mattress was comfortable — soft and plush (compared to most hotel rooms). The view from our private balcony was breathtaking. However, there is one complaint and one only: no black out curtains! After a night of enjoying the area, I would like the option to sleep in although it did allow us to be up in time for the free breakfast/​champagne daily, so you can take it how you want to. Breakfast was way over the top. It definitely surpassed my expectations unlike your typical cold cereal and continental breakfast. I tried the veggie omelette and florentine benedict which was pretty decent for being a free meal. The wine tasting hour was epic. Our hosts over the two nights were Dani and Valerie and they were both sweethearts as well as informative about all the wines on the list. My favorite wine overall was the Merlot. Honestly, in all respect, the Port and Sherry (dessert) wines tasted literally like a glass of sugar. We were sad to leave and would highly recommend this sweet bed and breakfast to anyone!

The inn At churon surpassed my expectations. The rooms are large and AMAZING. My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time on our stay. We are definitely going to book again when he gets home from deployment

Only stayed not even a night. The rooms where a nice concept. Bath room was dirty and the mattress was horrible. The Inn needs updating. Had to leave because we weren’t comfortable being here. My fiancé and I didn’t like that our next door neighbor at 1am started screaming on the top of her lungs in terror. I Went down stairs to talk to someone, and there was no one there in the lobby. Plus when I got back, I know I shut the room door hard. And it was open even without the key. I Had an offer through Travelzoo which was nice and gave us a free bottle of wine and wine tasting. The wine tasting was off the hook! One of the better winery’s in Temecula, but will not stay at the inn. Still was charged for a full day even though wasn’t here all day.

We stay here for my husband birthday weekend. The room was much better than I imagine after reading some of the bad review. Anid at the front desk was most gracious and accommodating host. We just love the whole experience we had here. Thanks for the complimentary bottle of wine for my husband’s special day. Would definitely stay here again!

Pleasant surprise. We booked Churon a few days before a last minute over night trip to Temecula… It was centrally located in wine country with a good price compared to the low grade commercial hotel/​motel/​inns, so considering that and the timing of our trip, along with it being for a Friday night, what more could we ask for… It’s not the Ritz Carlton, but we ended up having a great experience… Customer service was friendly and accommodating. the breakfast included was just right, and the complimentary wine tasting was a nice touch even though the wines were young and not the best around town. to sum up: great view and customer service, spacious and clean rooms, comfy bed and quiet rooms, centrally located in wine country with reasonable prices for a BnB… we will definitely be back…

We’re so glad we choose to get married at Churon winery. Not only is the venue beautiful but the staff are very friendly and the rooms for guests are a great size. Enrique was our wedding coordinator and was amazing, we got to try lots of food before making our decision, and he took on our recommendations and taste preferences well.

There were last minute changes on the day due to the weather changing and the team handled it with ease and expertise. We both felt relaxed and we really enjoyed our day there.
We have been wine club members for over a year and throughly enjoy the wine, atmosphere and property AND our guests did too! Thank you Lyndsay, Enrique and team for making our day as magical as it could be.

I would caution anyone considering Churon for lodging, wine, events or anything else. I had booked a room for a wedding and was excited about my stay. My wife was due on ⁹⁄₂₃ but as a groomsman in the wedding I planned to attend, knowing that my wife could deliver late. I ultimately needed to cancel my reservation for the evening because my wife went into labor in ⁹⁄₂₅. I called Trip Advisor to cancel and they alerted me to Churon’s cancellation policy, citing that I’d forfeit the entire amount for my stay. They also said many hotels provide flexibility for medical emergencies or death of a loved one and they would call the hotel to request an exception. The booking company called the hotel directly and put in the request in, however the hotel declined it. I understand that’s the policy but thought to myself «perhaps if I call the hotel directly they might recognize the situation and modify the decision.» However, after calling direct they rudely said that they needed to charge me for the entire night because it was policy and they make no exceptions. Sadly I got the sense that they were questioning the validity of the situation. My wife is a well-​respected partner and medical doctor for Sharp healthcare, so I assure you this wasn’t us gaming the system with a false medical claim. In any event, the hotel was laser focused on revenue and certainly not focused on the customer and the experience for their guest. We will never return for tasting or an overnight stay. We will tell friends visiting Temecula to avoid Churon. If you want to give your money to a hotel that doesn’t have any flexibility or consider consideration when it comes to family matters, this is the place for you. If you want to do business with a hotel that genuinely cares about their guests, I’d recommend reviewing your other options. By the way, our adorable baby girl arrived healthy, safe and sound on ⁹⁄₂₆

It’s definitely not the most luxurious hotel — but it’s a lot of bang for your buck.
While the décor may be slightly dated… the room size, view, complimentary bottle of wine, jacuzzi tub and rad lady at the front desk made it well worth it. It’s pretty centrally located, so you can easily shuttle over (we took an Über) to any winery within the area at an affordable price. Definitely worth it and we’ll likely be back!

I hovered back and forth between A-​OK and Yay! I’m a fan. In a tie, the business wins. I liked the remote setting that was so close to the big El Lay.
The room was spacious and comfortable with a large four poster king sized bed and a great view of the winery. A complimentary bottle of wine was en suite, and it was easily exchanged if it wasn’t my type.
Morning greeted me with the soft hush of hot air balloons floating around the valley. A nice complimentary omelet came along with good service on the veranda. This would make for a very nice and romantic getaway.

for $ 243 that offered 3 days and 2 nites, free mimosa included breakfast, a free bottle of wine along with 20% off of any bottle purchased. We had an awesome room with a private balcony that overlooked the vineyard which was awesome and was good for star watching @ night. actually saw a few shooting stars every nite. The room was a very nice size and came equipped with a fireplace, fridge which came in handy along with a jacuzzi in the very big bathroom that included 2 sinks. Complimentary tastings were in effect from 5 – 7 everyday for anyone staying at the hotel.
Tastings took place downstairs below ground floor level and I had some really good wines… so good that I joined their wine club and got 40% off the first 2 bottles. Val was very good at helping us pick really good wines and walking me through what I get from being a club member. This place was definitely awesome and made for a great bday destination… I wanna go back!

The Inn at Churon Winery is by far our little getaway every time we can, we enjoy the beautiful views from the balcony (very private by the way). Staff is very friendly and the breakfast is just the perfect amount! Love the lovely décor, perfect for romance and make your spouse or significant other make fall in love with you again and again
If I can make some suggestions that would be to please change the color of the stairs that goes to the kitchen! it is an awful color and does not match the rest of the décor and have two persons at the bar.
it would also be nice if you add a pool :-)

I LOVE the Churon. It has a quaint, romantic, French villa style feel with all rooms having a private blacony facing the beautiful wine country of Temecula, with its rolling green vineyards. The service is exceptional. We LOVE the Chardonnay suite, which is their largest room with a very private balcony, a very large tub, and a gorgeous view. We love to try the wine tasting, and it is a good distance to Old Town, Carol’s Restaurant, and Michael’s Kitchen, which are great destination. The rooms have fireplaces, big tubs, beautiful comfy beds, clean facilities, fridge, coffee maker, and free bottle of wine from their grapes. No noise at all.
Pro tip: sleep with the door and drapes open all night for maximum fresh air and catch a beautiful morning sunrise view with the fog!
Pro tip #2: make sure you go to Old Town and eat out there!

Overall great place: would stay here again
Pros: fireplace, jacuzzi tub, tv, coffee maker, fridge, private patio, comfy bed, clean, good breakfast (complimentary), friendly staff, complimentary wine tasting hour for guests.
Cons: no pool, wine was a 4 (scale of 1 – 10), a/​c (room 105) made an awful noise and phone didn’t work.
Suggestions: as I read other reviews I noticed a major complaint was that it’s noisy if there’s an event going on. Although this didn’t happen to us (our stay was during the weekday) I can see that happening. The patio opens up to the beautiful vineyard grounds where they have weddings, concerts etc. it’s literally steps away. I would suggest asking the Inn if they have any events going on prior to booking your room.

Ok so here is the scoop. Great deal if you get a groupon or travelzoo. Wine– pretty bad. I liked the passionate peach champagne that was it. Free wine tasting 5 – 5:50– bonus as a guest! And free breakfast (pretty good). The hotel needs some updating. Feels super old and outdated but also has a nice family feel. I would stay here again as the rooms were nice and bed was comfy. If you get a deal stay here. Otherwise skip it.

Fabulous spot — especially for the price. We called and talked to the inn keeper personally and got a screaming deal. I would definitely call rather than using an online booking site. I’m giving 5 stars as a combo of accommodation + affordability — NOT because it was the most perfect experience or because it’s the swankiest spot in wine country. I can’t imagine you get more bang for your buck. Charming, clean, spacious rooms, comfy beds, welcoming innkeepers and wine and breakfast included??? Seriously, you could not beat this for less than 150 per night.
The rooms are clean and very spacious — the bathrooms have two sinks and a nice bathtub too — very romantic although I came with some girlfriends and a 4 month old! Beds were super comfy and there was a wonderful balcony with a view of the vineyards. Awesome fireplace.
Breakfast was included. They got way slammed so come a little early (or a little later but it’s a small operation so they might run out of certain items). Feels very mom and pop-​ish while still having most of the amenities (broken ice machine but brought as much ice as we needed to our room). The food was pretty yummy — I would have done with a more generous helping of the potatoes. And my food took forever but they gave me a free mimosa for the wait time.
FREE WINE TASTING from 5 – 6. And by FREE WINE tasting I mean as much as you want. Seriously — that and breakfast? The room practically pays for itself. And like I said it’s a dang nice room anyway.
Another benefit — a ton of wineries are a stone’s throw away, so you don’t need to worry about drinking and driving. You might even be able to walk it (some around ~ .5 miles and you can literally see them from the property).
I will for sure be staying here again the next time I am in Temecula.

I stayed at the Inn at Churon Winery last week and contrary to some other Unilocaler reviews I had the most amazing stay and experienced WONDERFUL customer service!
We were checked in quickly and promptly and our room was ready right away. We were told about the complimentary wine tasting and included morning breakfast. We went right to our room and it was gorgeous!!! Amazing view from our private balcony, the room was spacious and very clean. It had a fireplace and big TV. The bathroom was huge with a jacuzzi tub and separate sinks. (see photos) and our King size bed was plush and super comfy. The one and only complaint I had about the room was the water pressure in the shower. It is super weak I couldn’t even rinse the conditioner from my hair. But it’s an old building and I’m sure it has its quirks. Not a big deal.
Once we were settled we took advantage of walking around the gorgeous property! It is truly stunning and you are right in the vineyard. We even plucked a few grapes right off the vine. This is how you want to stay in wine country! Not in some Hampton Inn, etc. This place has character, charm and breathtaking views.
We then took advantage of the wine hour in their tasting room which is large and spacious. No problem getting a spot at the bar. Dani was doing the tasting and was very nice and knowledgeable about the wines and some of the sights and hot spots in Temecula. She even stayed a few minutes after closing to make sure we got to taste all the wines! It was awesome.
The breakfast in the morning included 2 mimosas and can be enjoyed inside or out on the patio overlooking the vineyards. There weren’t many choices, maybe 6 or so. I am a vegetarian and there wasn’t anything vegetarian on the menu but they were super accommodating and altered some of the menu items so I could enjoy them. While it isn’t a gourmet huge breakfast that you might get at a bed and breakfast, it is way better than some continental breakfast of just muffins and cold cereal. And it was nice to sit down and have breakfast served to us. I thought it was just lovely.
Overall, i can’t say enough good things about the Inn. The pictures don’t do it justice! And one final example of how they went above and beyond to accommodate us. We have a fully electric car (Tesla) and there aren’t any EV charging stations in wine country. They were so sweet and totally ran an extension cord outside so we could plug in our car! That is service.
I would definitely stay here again and hope I get the chance sooner than later :)

I don’t know what some of my fellow Unilocalers are yapping about, but The Inn at Churon Winery is blissfully amazing!
I came to the winery about a month ago for my sister’s 30^th birthday. After tasting wines and buying bottles, I went ahead and signed up for the Wine Club. One of the benefits of the wine club is 50% off stay in The Inn. So since it was long overdue for some r&r, I figured it was the perfect time to book 2 nights stay at The Inn. Another bonus is a free room upgrade. So when I called and made reservations and told them I was a wine club member, I mentioned the free room upgrade. I was told that there weren’t any suites available. Ok, no biggie. So when we get there, I was surprised that I was given a suite, the Zinfandel suite… that’s what’s up!
Walked in the suite, and grinned from ear to ear. The room was spectacular! The room was large with a fireplace, nice size balcony, massive bathroom (jacuzzi tub, separate shower). It was so cozy and relaxing, and I slept like a baby. From the balcony, we had a view of the vineyard and the mountains. What a peaceful view!
For breakfast, guests are given complimentary breakfast from 8am-​10am. Its not continential breakfast, but don’t expect to get full either. It was a nice gesture though. Another benefit of being a wine club member is complimentary wine tasting for me and 3 guests. Yep, took advantage of that. However, if you are not a member, there is complimentary wine tasting for guests from 5p-​6p. The selection of wine samplings isn’t as vast as the list thst id offered during «non-​complimentary» hour.
I experienced swiftness with checking in and out. I have nothing but great things to say about this place.

The pictures of this charming B&B really do it no justice. We arrived at 1 and because it was Sunday of Memorial Day weekend there was no early check in but were offered to enjoy wine and sandwiches on the patio. The view from the patio is just gorgeous. We had a glass of Sangria (10 bucks and you get to keep the souvenir glass!) along w/​the Grilled Tri-​tip sandwich which is delicious and fresh made on the spot.
Our room itself was clean and spacious, had a nice patio looking out into the vineyard, and even a working fireplace. The bathroom really stole the show though, it had to be as big as the rest of the room with an awesome jacuzzi tub, but you have to bring your own bubbles sorry folks.
Free wine happy hour with very generous pours (even though the wine is not very good it’s still nice), and a free FULL breakfast. None of that continental crap here, and the quality of food is very good which was a nice surprise to me. I expected Denny’s quality since it was free.
Only two cons:
1) No food options after 4pm so if you’ve got post winery tour hunger make sure you stop for dinner before coming back to the hotel. Rooms have a large fridge but no microwave to heat the food up in.
2) You can hear everyone’s everything. At one point I was awoken by the above floor’s jacuzzi filling up. The A/​C also makes strange noises sometimes even if you turn it off.
Even with those two things I definitely plan to stay here again in the future. It’s a fabulous bang for your buck.
