We’ve been a full time competition BBQ team and part time caterer. We’ve been on the Professional BBQ circuit for years, and contests are always open to the public. The public helped to create such a high demand for our catering service that we’ve had to turn down more business than we’re able to accept.

Frankly, we get more satisfaction these days from providing our customers with competition level BBQ, seeing people literally eat it up, than the satisfaction that comes from feeding only the select few, the certified judges at contests.

We cook for catering exactly as we do for competition. It’s very special, exceptional, high end BBQ, and we do not cut corners.

We’re one of the best brisket cooks in the country, and we know what we’re doing when it comes to BBQ.

I love making people happy with my food. It’s always been my joy, my passion.

History

Established in 2013.

The original Hog Heaven Barbecue was created in my kitchen in 1991, and was perfected 20 years later.

I’ve been passionate about quality food since childhood and my mother showed me how to express love with food.

In the late 80’s, it occurred to me that I had a LOT of preparing to do! The first step was to collect my biggest flavor influences — sauce, rubs, marinades and dips and I plunged right into savory inspirations of huge new flavors.

After some R&D, I created Hog Heaven and 4 completely original BBQ sauce flavors — Smokehouse, Apple Chipotle, Apricot Jalapeño, and Smokehouse Heat.

Over the last several years, Hog Heaven Barbecue has won several BBQ competitions throughout Southern California, and catered on the side. These competitions created such a high demand for our product that we’ve decided to cater more and compete less.

We’re proud to provide competition-​level BBQ to our clients without cutting corners.

The love my mother expressed for her family often manifested itself as home-​cooked, delicious meals. Thus, my joy of sharing food with friends and family has been a staple in my life for as long as I can remember. Entertaining close friends and family with backyard cookouts, kickin’ it and laughin’ it up to good music and great food was to me, what life was all about. When people love the eats I’ve piled on their plates I’m the happiest guy in the world. When you were invited for ‘que at my place, you knew you were in for a treat.
