Amazing and beautiful winery! You can not beat these views! I love the red wines especially the Cabernets! I am a member and will be coming for years to come. The entire staff and sweet and knowledgable-​and Art is the BEST!!! He knows his stuff for sure!!!

First off, some employees are rude. As soon as I get there on a Sunday I tell the girl I would like to buy wine tasting and if I could use the Unilocal special. She says oh no that’s only Monday-​Thursday with an attitude. The I go to the bartender with the tattoos in his hand and wide ear piercings (good looking guy) but he ignores us. He passes is several times only helping those with money in their hands. Finally we move towards another guy in the middle. This guy hooked it up. He explained the five «s» sight, sip and swallow I believe (sorry it was hitting me). This guy made for it. Their wine was very good especially the yeast fermented cab and their Sangiovese.

Don’t eat here. Ordered a BLT sandwich that tasted so gross I only had one bite of it. I told the waitress she didn’t offer me anything else and still charged me for something I didn’t even eat! Needless to say me and my husband had to go somewhere else and eat again because I didn’t eat anything! Horrible customer service!

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. Even though ¹⁄₃ of the tables were empty, they wouldn’t seat is without a reservation. Will not patronize a place who doesn’t want our business.
They also have self serve machines for pouring wine — felt very industrial and impersonal. No thanks when there are several great wineries such as Wilsons Creek, Miramonte, and Falkner nearby.

Absolutely beautiful! So glad we stopped here! One of thee best wineries in Temecula! Wonderful Views!

Short and not-​so-​sweet.
Herd you in, herd you out. Sales sales sales. Never impressed here.
Can’t a person just go in and taste wine, enjoy their time and leave feeling good about their visit? Be forewarned, you WILL be asked to join their wine club, if not then they just probably don’t like you. I’ve been to this winery 3 – 4 times and always get the semi-​high-​pressure sales pitch… I don’t join the club, they are done with me, move on to the next victim. Wines aren’t bad though, but I’ll take my business elsewhere every time.
Oh, and overpriced gift shop.

This was a remarkable experience. We came here after making a birthday reservation, however due to bad weather and damage to the seating area, all reservations had to be cancelled. The sous chef Ryan went out of this way to make it up to us. He was able to graciously accommodate us in the tasting room with a complimentary glass of wine as he quickly whipped us up some unbelievably tasty meals. They came through in a crunch with an unforgettable experience. Customer service was beyond reproach and they’ve cemented some life long customers.

This is the first stop for us to have some wine tasting today.
Parking: you can find parking easily, it’s in from of the main entrance and they have additional parking area too.
Wine tasting: there are many kind of wine for you to choose from once you purchase the ticket. $ 15 for 6 tastings which is not bad. You can try from light to strong.
Environment: the view is pretty, I wish the grapes are growing so we can see the whole green plants.
Service: they are nice and very knowledgeable about the wine.

Fantastic winery! Some of the best wines here. The servers are extremely nice and helpful. Plus, you get free chocolate and crackers with the tasting. Great atmosphere, loved this place

Beautiful estate and definitely very built out with a wedding area, a huge tasting room/​patio and wine production areas.
Mom, hubby and I took the facility tour and it was pretty cool, especially when we were in the barrel room. Only bummer in our visit was that our tour guide didn’t have much of a sense of humor, didn’t really come off as friendly and basically was just doing his job. To his credit, he was pretty informative.
They have a wide selection of wines for tasting in their tasting room. You have the option of tasting at the bar or buying a card to get wine from their automated systems on the other side of the room. I think the bar has more wines but you can pretty much get the same stuff at the machines if you’re not a fan of human interaction.
The grounds are pretty where they have weddings. It affords a great view of Temecula valley. All in all a great stop on your tour.

This was our second stop on a recent visit to Temecula. It was beautiful! There is a restaurant there although I didnt stop by. There was a wedding the day I went. It looks like a beautiful place to have an event. The wines come from stainless steel barrels not oak and you can tell the difference. I am not sure if its entirely from that but I can definitely tell from the aromas. The aroma of the wines were not as pronounced or profound as those I tasted before and after from wine barrels. The place is beautiful though. It just feels too commercial.

The view is beautiful. Definitely one of the nicer wineries out here but the service was sub par. We came on a Wednesday and because it was Veteran’s Day it was a little more packed than a usual weekday. However, this was our last stop for the day and I wasn’t impressed. We live in the area so it’s not a big deal to head out here to stop at a few wineries on our day off but this was our first time here and it’ll probably be our last.
$ 15 for 6 tastings and the tastings were literally a splash. Definitely, by far, the smallest tasters of the entire day. One of the guys pouring was a little rude so we avoided doing business with him. Instead of greeting us with a normal «hello» or «what can I get for you?», he just said «there’s more room down there so you guys don’t have to crowd this area». Mmmm sounds great I’ll have one of those, thanks. Just a liiiiittle too cocky and arrogant with his weird remarks… couldn’t tell if he was joking or being a jerk. Either way, we had our last tastings of the day and took off without anything memorable but the view. Wouldn’t recommend this place to friends just because of the service. Between the weak pours and the lack of appreciation for business it’s important to remember that all of the wineries offer the same deal for the same price so just go where you’re able to enjoy yourself. My personal recommendations would be Ponte or Wilson Creek because they make you feel comfortable and appreciated.

I don’t know what happened. Their food used to be really good. Too much salt, does not a meal make. Don’t get me wrong the wine and service is great. But be prepared for your tongue to shrink and whither like a snail in a salt bath. I hope they pick up their game in the kitchen. The wine is fabulous! We sent back the calamari with asparagus. We could see the piles of salt all over the beautifully golden crisp pieces. Then ordered the grilled veggie club. The veggies were cold (it was noted to be marinated) the bread was great. Not what I wanted. The manager came out to reconcile the situation by bringing is more food but now I’m full of salt and water weight. Sorry folks, stick to the wine. We did enjoy the tartar despite the saltiness.

I had a great time here with friends. The property is beautiful and the service was second to none. We stayed in the tasting room but they brought out several samples from the kitchen that were an added bonus. I was starving so this grub was heaven sent! Delicious food! I will be sure to visit the restaurant the next time we come. We tried several wines and they did not disappoint. We ended up taking a few bottles home… my favorite, the port :-)

The grounds at Callaway are undeniably beautiful. There are plenty of places to stroll. It’s reported to be the area’s first winery (1968) and is owned by Callaway Golf. They also have an on-​site restaurant named Meritage.
The tasting room had one immensely long bar along the back wall which resulted in slow service from the four laissez-​fair servers. When the crowds were big, there simply weren’t enough folks to pour. One thing that was pretty cool about the tasting room was that if you wanted to buy a glass of wine, Callaway had these nifty automated self-​service machines that would pour your glass for you.
My selections were a 2012 Viognier, a Special Ambrosia, a Muscat Canelli, a Special Selection Rose, a Late Harvest Cabernet, and a Special Sauvignon Blanc. I liked the Ambrosia and the Cabernet, but my clear preference was the Special Rose –it was terrific.

The road up to the property, past just some of the grapes in the vineyard, is one of the highlights for me. It seems regal, and special. An ample size paved parking lot is nice, and you’ll notice two things when walking from your car: how modern it is, and the Meritage Restaurant.
The setting of the Meritage restaurant on the property is incredible. Make reservations if you can, but they will take a limited amount of walk-​ins.
In the main building, you enter into a small but pricey shop of wine-​inspired wares. Beyond that is the tasting room. Again, a very modern design with the backdrop glass and the vineyards with tastings $ 7.50-$ 12.50 includes a glass. Off of the wine tasting room, is a large modern patio where you can sip a glass of Chardonnay (and their known for having some of the finest in California), you’ll be privy to an amazing view of the vineyards and other wineries, too. It’s simply is one of the best views around.
While it’s not one of my favorite wineries or wines, for that matter, it’s a worthy stop on your tour.

We came here for the first time this past weekend and had a great first impression!
We came for the wine tasting which was $ 15 for 6 tastings, which is a great price.
The tasting room beautifully over looks the vineyard with big open windows. I couldn’t imagine a better view while tasting delicious wine.
The service was incredible! Everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful in selecting the wines.
I loved the Muscat! It was delicious. They also have a club which offers free tastings for up to 4 people and access to the lounge upstairs. You must check this winery out if you are in Temecula!

The first winery I ever went to in temecula was Callaway, which I would say is a great experience for anyone trying their pallet out to wine. They have a great variety of reds, whites and an amazing dessert list. When I say amazing dessert wines, I am talking the best I’ve ever had. The customer service is out of this world.
Since I’ve gone to quite a few of the local wineries, I must say this one is in the top 3. I would recommend this place to anyone new to wine or someone who drinks wine daily. Great place, great atmosphere and amazing wine!

Wonderful place to try some great wine and view the temecula valley towards the 15 freeway.
Had the pleasure to visit with some members and the Vu (2^nd floor members only) is pretty sweet, elevated above the property with open air design you will get to relax in a very calm and social scene.
Tried the 3 flute option with 2 – 3 ounces of dry to sweet wine. My three choices were 2011 Special Selection Pinot Gris, 2012 Special Selection Rose of Sangiovese & 2014 Special Selection Muscat Canelli.
Went home with two bottles 2011 Pinot Gris (absolutely delicious) and 2014 Muscat Canelli (sweet but just right).
Hope to return to have a meal at their restaurant.

Calloway Winery and Vineyard was the 2^nd stop on our self-​guided Temecula wine tour. The land isn’t as beautiful as some of the other places, but it had one of the most informative tours I have ever been on (and I have been on a lot).
When you check in you get $ 5 off a tasting AND the tour is free. Make sure to remind them about the free tour or they may not give it to you. It is in smaller print than the $ 5 off the tasting and they didn’t see it at first when we were there.
