I can not say enough WONDERFUL things about this amazing place. I went to Birth Choice in October 2011, scared out of my mind because I feared I was pregnant and it was something that was not planned & I was recently let go from work. Being my first experience with a pregnancy and no income I researched pregnancy resource centers and ran upon Birth Choice. I called that day to hear a friendly, soft voice on the other end of the line and I instantly felt a big sigh of relief and some how SAFE! She informed me what services they offered and how they strived to save lives of unborn children by educating woman & families, offering counseling support, referrals, and tons of resources. I made my way to Birth Choice the very next day and meet with a counselor to take a pregnancy test and I was correct, I was pregnant! Something I never thought could happen… You would think it would be the happiest time of my life but unfortunately it was not. My Boyfriend who was my best guy friend for 12 years was recently divorced & had full custody of his two small children, the youngest being only 1yrs old at that time. I felt devastated, sad, nervous and trapped all in one because here I was raising someone else’s children with the thought I’d never conceive my own and when it finally happened all I could think of was abortion and what were my options. Who would’ve thought those emotions would run through me? I felt a connection instantly with the ladies at Birth Choice that I opened up about this unplanned pregnancy and let it all out on the table. They discussed my alternatives and I was given so much love & support in just a 2 hour visit that I realized being unplanned and unmarried that I still could make a choice to save my child’s life. That day, before I left I chose MYUNBORNCHILD! I received numerous hugs and tons of information on how they wanted stand by my side every step of the way. I left there in tears but they were happy tears! The support they offered was unbelievable, everything from counseling, a library to learn about your entire pregnancy(Book & videos), ultrasounds, maternity clothing, to when my baby was born they could offer me help with clothing & supplies if needed and much, much more. During my pregnancy I came to visit to catch up, get some reading material, and larger clothing for growing belly, I’d always be welcomed with handmade baby hats, handmade maternity sweaters, great books and asked if I needed anything at all. It was the best feeling in the world that these loving, selfish woman could make my pregnancy so wonderful & happy. I have now been with Birth Choice from day one starting from my first pregnancy test ever to my son now being 18 months old. It has been an amazing journey and the support & love they gave my family & I has been absolutely incredible and beyond anything I could have imagined when I picked up that phone that day. My son is the most precious thing I could have ever been given. I can never thank them enough for what they have done for me. When I think of being so helpless they were there every step of the way. Thank you Birth Choice.

Birth Choice send people out to clinics and other places around the area to stop and harass those who are trying to get birth control or other services from clinics and other doctors offices. They assume that everyone who enters a doctors office is making a choice to not give birth, so they stop everyone and try to give them literature and talk with them about making the«right choice» or the choice that they feel is right. Today I left the doctors, I am over 40 with 5 kids, and went to get my annual exam. I was stopped by this group. When I called birth choice they claimed the people standing outside the buildings with the giant«Birth choice temecula» signs do not belong to them. That someone must have taken those signs and stood outside. It doesn’t bother me and I entered the building, but I can see many teenagers who might be trying to prevent pregnancy, may go without birth control for fear or embarrassment from the birth choice people standing outside. The very kids they want to teach about choice, they are preventing from having the choice to prevent unwanted pregnancy. When I asked the representative about this, she said these teenagers should choose«abstinence». How is this a choice? They want only their choice? Abstinence, or as the representative told me, if they do have sex then«Adoption is always a choice» They are not just working for at risk teens, they are trying to convert everyone to their beliefs. I believe we all have the freedom to believe any side, either pro-choice or pro-life. But to stop others from obtaining birth control, pap smears, and other health services that is just wrong. I am a married woman with 5 kids, and this is just wrong. Just an update: The owners daughter contacted me and said that Yes, they have people who go out to clinics… but they are only going to pray with the women who are entering the buildings. They are not«harassing» them. So I apologize for calling it harassment.(I guess the giant dead baby signs was just a way to ask someone to pray with them) They are really just wanting to pray with you, they are not stopping anyone to be harassing. It is all in love. And she also called me a «Liar», in the same sentence that she admitted that they go to the clinics. So I guess I am a liar… I am surprised that an organization about helping others and based off giving would call people names. Makes me feel confident about a business that calls themself Christian and calls others Liars at the same time. You know they are not judging. I think Birth Choice is a great group for those who are choosing to have a baby. And if you have baby items to donate to a women in need, this would be a great place. I do not want to put a negative on all the positive activities that they do. I just wish they could focus on being positive and spreading a message of being there for those who need help, instead of trying to force their opinions on others. If they could focus on the positive I am sure many more people would give and be there to support them, but most people do not want to support stopping people and asking them to «pray» together with a giant sign about dead babies.

Birth Choice is a place that’s very close to my heart. I work with at-risk youth, and some of those kids I have the pleasure of working for are pregnant minors. What I do is not for everyone, it’s definitely a calling, and I can’t believe it’s how I make a living. Birth Choice shares every option that a girl has when she’s faced with the difficult decision of what to do after she becomes pregnant. But make no mistake, this is a Christan, Non-Denominational run organization, so don’t expect that option. Another great thing about this place is that they don’t offer their services just to minors. Anyone that is not sure of what road to go down can come here for counseling or just to talk. There are plenty of options here, but importantly, there are plenty of friends. As soon as you walk through the door, you’ll become their number one investment. Not all hope is lost…
