Description

Specialties

Assistance League of Temecula Valley, a chapter of the National Assistance League®, is a non-profit, volunteer philanthropic organization dedicated to serving the needs of families in Southwest Riverside County.

Our thrift store provides the major source of funding to support our philanthropic programs. It is operated by our members and offers high quality, gently used merchandise including clothing, books, toys, jewelry, house wares, sports equipment, baby items and furniture.

History

Established in 1989.

The National Assistance League was established in Los Angeles in the early 1900s. It was the first West Coast nonprofit, nonsectarian, nonpolitical organization.

And, it was the first organization of its kind to recognize the potential of volunteers in helping those less fortunate achieve a better, more meaningful life.
