Tehachapi Lawn And Garden Equipment

This is a go-​to place for a friend of mine who lives in Tehachapi. Tehachapi Lawn and Garden Equipment services/​repairs chain saws, mowers and other two cycle type farm/​landscaping equipment. I’ve been in this shop several times in as many years, helping my pal with his riding mower which he gets serviced here, from time to time. My buddy also has the shop service his chain saws, of which he has several and uses A LOT throughout the year.
I am very impressed by a couple of things here. Though it would seem that there is not much competition for this shop in Tehachapi, the owner (Jack) and the employees treats everyone who walks through the door like family; Extremely friendly and helpful. Jack, who obviously loves people, must pass on his people skills to the folks that work here, because they are all above and beyond what one finds in «garden» or «tool» stores or in those departments in the big box stores.
On Tuesday, we waited for Jack while he was answering question after question from a needy customer. He then went outside to check out the rider/​mower we brought to the shop. Of the two issues that my pal thought needed repairing, Jack showed us one issue was a minor fixit and the estimated cost of what my buddy thought needed to be done was about half of what he anticipated it was going to be.
Great service from honest, home town, friendly people.
