History

Established in 1989.

Domino’s #8435 was opened in September 1989 by franchisee Will Campbell. The store was sold to Dave and Linda Whetstone January 2007. Their son Scott has taken over the day to day management of the store. He is assisted in the store management by Danielle Pharoah, Dominic Bellasperanza and Marcus Abarquez also we have many Customer service representatives and last but certainly not least our Domino’s Drivers, who work hard to get your deliveries to you hot and ready to eat.

Scott took over managig the Domino’s Tehachapi so his parents could semi-retire.He has worked as a customer service representative and a driver for different Domino’s stores. He is married to Jenny and the have 2 children David III and Samantha they reside in Bear Valley Springs. If you ever have any opportunities for Scott to give you a helping hand with the Store don’t hesitate to ask for him.

This is your typical Dominos Pizza… The reason for my 5 star review is because Chad gave me such great customer service today. He was super professional after I screwed up my own online order. Thanks Chad!

If I could give this pizza place a negative I would. They employees look like they absolutely hate their lives. They are rude when dealing with customers. They constantly forget items when delivering. Lastly, the one that pissed me off the most I ordered late at night. I asked if it was too late to order. They said no and took my information. I waited the 35 minutes that they said it would take and then 20 minutes later and they never came. That was the final event. I no longer eat at this dominos and I don’t think you should either. Either change owners or shut it down.

Drew was awesome. Came in to the store order my pizza ran over to the store picked up a few things came back and it was ready. It was perfect ! They are so sweet from the moment you walk in till you leave.

Well, the only thing I had to go off was the delivery time. I was staying 3 miles away with an hour and a half delivery time. I thought the other review/​s may have been a fluke but this was on a Monday so delivery should never be that long… Very disappointed as dominoes is our go to… Hungry howies it is! 30 minute wait.

The pizza took about 1hr & 30 mins to be delivered I had to cancel not only that this isn’t the first time I order. Last time I order the pizza was very burnt ! Never ordering again. It’s so ridicules. Called the manager and she was not nice at all. Maybe they where very busy but you don’t take 40 mins just to deliver a pizza then be rude about it when I call to ask how it’s doing?

Not bad for what it is. Must say I’m a fan of the Parmesan bites! Delivery can be slow when they are slammed (no shock there). Huge improvement from college days. This particular store seems to have trouble getting enough employees. Love the on-​line order feature. Use the coupons or it gets too pricey.

Wow called to order and they said it would take one hour and 15 minutes to make buffalo wings. I think either dominos is extremely busy or they are slow… If I was the owner I would be looking into this and trying to stream line the process of service or calling the corporate office for assistant to improve customer service… this is unacceptable. I can go to Buffalo Wild Wings and get my wings within 15 minutes…

Always had great and flavorful pizza! We order Brooklyn Style pepperoni and California Chicken thin crust! Always been consistent with us with delivery and taste! Our fav’s! Yummie! An abundance of flavor and very satisfying! Great job!

I haven’t had Dominoes Pizza for a very long time… Years! It was an awful experience. Pizza wasn’t cooked fully. Attitude driver with my mom telling the driver off too… the full throttle bad. One of my friends told me that they’ve gotten a lot better. So I gave it a try a again here in Tehachapi. Gluten free pizza is actually pretty good. Service was good. A lot more better deals now. So much of an improvement. Read how Dominoes was changing the company. Pretty cool.

Seriously $ 38 for two pizzas and garlic bread and I didn’t know until they dropped it off. Worst guest service ever. Charges for cheese and peppers. Never again

Got a pick up large w/​double pepperoni and onions and I gotta say the new recipe with tons of toppings really impressed me and my dad. It was was better than that hype Hungry Howeys place. I’m just saying I think dominoes is a pinch better. Pretty price too at $ 7.99.
Next time I’m in T-​town I’ll get the same pie!

Okay! I asked For a pizza without cheese, loaded with veggies. Store GM –Scott absolutely made sure my order was perfect! I’m sold! More pizza please. ! I have searched many places and have been unable to score a true veggie pizza. My search is over– Dominos in Tehachapi Rocks !

Last year around this time my whole family was poisoned by this business. When I called they tried to blame another pizza shop in town. They said we don’t have record of us getting a pizza and it had to be the other shop. I know it was them for sure because I picked it up from them directly and that’s why they didn’t have record. It wasn’t delivered. We have not been back since the incident and probably won’t for awhile. I talked to friends who ordered pizza from this place around the same time and they felt the same affects. We still haven’t heard anything from this business for an apology either.

My significant other loves Domino’s but I am disappointed everytime. I usually end up picking the toppings off and just eating them because I can’t stand the crust and sauce. I’ve tried to be fair and tried the different crusts and I’ve even tried the marinara sauce instead of the pizza sauce, but it all just sucks. I feel sick just thinking about the pizza!

I forgot to write a review for a visit Dec 18 2010. We had company over and didn’t want to cook so we ordered pizza. One pizza was sausage and olives and the other was ham and pineapple. Within 4 or 5 hours of eating we all started to get sick and it hit my 12 year old that has RA the hardest. It had to be the sauce or dough because everyone got sick. We called the health dept the following Monday and they were going to pay a visit. I will never eat here again.
