We are a pet grooming facility with experienced professional groomers. Walk-​ins are always welcome, save $ 5.00 off your first groom. We groom all pets including dog, cat, bird, rabbit and guinea pig. We groom your pet within two hours (average). We are friendly and compassionate all pets are treated as family.

We opened this shop so tehachapi could have an alternative choice that is friendly and welcoming.

My mutt goes in every few months to get groomed, and he looks fantastic every time. My little guy gets frightened easily, but he does well going to this groomer. The staff is very good with dogs and very friendly. They give you a festive bandanna and a bag of small treats after every grooming.

First groomers I have tried since moving to the area. I’m glad I did. Their appointment availability was flexible and I love how they take each animal upon appointment. They don’t collect 20 animals early in the morning, stuff them in cages for 4 hours before they even touch them and then call you at the end of the day to pick up your dehydrated and anxious pet. Wizard of Pawz actually works on each animal as you bring them in and then calls you an hour and a half later when completed! That’s a first for us. Our dog was fresh and completed with adorable bows upon our arrival. They gave us a bag of doggy goodies, which my picky pet loved, to take home with us. Their prices are reasonable and we will be back!

When it comes to grooming my dog, I am extremely picky. I’ve been to almost everyone in this town and they never trim her the way I ask. Finally I heard about Wizards of Paws and decided to see if they could do any better. First off, I was amazed by how wonderful and sweet the staff is. Then Jose took my little furball and did an outstanding job. He’s the only one I trust cutting my shiweenies hair now. I absolutely love how gentle and sweet he is and how much he spoils my dog. My dog has never warmed up to someone so fast, she loves him and I love the little bows he puts in her hair!

Stumbled on Wizard of Paws while looking for a last minute haircut (not for me, for the Maltese). Wasn’t too optimistic but they fit us in and I started bracing myself for the wife’s reaction to a rush-​job on her pup… Got a text message when he was ready and was pleasantly surprised to find a cute, clean and most importantly happy little dog waiting to be picked up. Been back several times since then and have always been amazed by the service and price. These folks clearly love what they do.

Awesome! So glad i found this place, i have been looking for a groomer that could compare with one that i used when i lived out of state. and i have found that here. First i want to mention that i thought my appointment was at 11am, and come to find out i screwed up and it was at 10am. Because it was my mistake, i didn’t expect them to see me that day since i showed up an hour later… but they actually still accommodated my pup, and i didn’t even have to wait for a later time. The fact they did that was really appreciated. When my pup was ready, she looked so great, perfect, clean, on point. she was so spunky with her new cut :) i will def be coming back and bringing my 2 other pups in :) thank you so much!

I bring my french bulldog into Wizard of Pawz and they do a great job! They’re quick and inexpensive. Moreover, I can call in and they always for me in! They’re facility is clean, and the staff is always super friendly. You feel comfortable leaving your pet with the staff at Wizard of Pawz

They are like artists for pets. They take their time and are professional in what they do. The prices are great. 35 for new customers for a Maltese size dog. I would come here again. The place is well decorated and looks like a pet boutique.

They did an awesome job! My Jack is really stubborn, but he seemed to be calm during his experience here. He got a «small dog special» which included… Bath, ears cleaned, nails trimmed, teeth brushed, and anal gland… All for $ 10! Great deal! and he even got a free bandana! The employees here are really friendly with you and your fur babies. I Definitely recommend Wizard of Pawz :)

I have taken my dog here every time I come, he is always happy to walk into wizard of pawz, very clean and always smells good. I always ask for Jose the owner he is very friendly and does the cutest styles for my puppy. I highly recommend him ask for him you won’t regret it!!!
