3 stars because this location is much much cleaner than the S. Tryon location. There are some items I can find here a few cents cheaper than the Charlotte location. It’s a little out of the way but sometimes worth the drive.

According to Unilocal at least, this Walmart has been remodeled. I don’t see it. It’s the same massive big box store as it was before when I rated it at two stars in 2012. I think it still has a very small parking lot. And the signage on SC-160 still needs some upgrading. You have to know where this place is or you won’t find it. Big plus for Charlotteans? Much lower sales tax in SC compared to NC.

This location is always poorly stocked. You would think that the store would have their shelves mildly full for the weekend shoppers, but no. I’ve had one Site-to-Store experience and that was more than enough. There were 3 people waiting, and 5 staff members floating back and forth, only one knew what they were doing. One actually had to rerun the same transaction for another customer 3 times. It was very painful. I will check out Publix or the Walmart in Lake Wylie.

Dirty store and very disorganized. Disappointing for a store that’s not very old. I try not to shop at any WM unless absolutely necessary. It’s WalMart. End of story.

This Walmart is very disappointing. I live very close and wish the manager and employees would make more of an effort. I drive the extra distance to target now.

This place is awful. I feel bad for the employees because everything is so disorganized, they don’t even know what to do. I have been back there three times in a week for paint. Do not go here to get paint. There is typically one employee in the building who knows how to mix paint and it has taken over 30 minutes to find someone every time I have gone. The first time, they messed up and gave me the wrong type of pain. The second, the only can they had left exploded and they had to put in a new order to get more. The third time they wanted me to pay to replace it after I had been there for an hour for 1 gallon of paint. Everyone that I worked with was very nice and caring, the place is just such a mess it is hard for them to help, especially when they have no idea how. also, you can walk through the isles of this place for 10 minutes before you find a single employee on the floor. I have not been here for groceries, so I cannot speak to that part of the store.

Zero stars. Avoid at all costs. I went to this Wal Mart at 11:20 because I heard it was a 24 hour Wal Mart and I wanted to buy an iPad. Big mistake. There were literally like 2 people working in the entire store I sat in the electronics section for 10 minutes or more with no help — I just needed someone to unlock the case so I could buy an iPad. Nope. After a few minutes I started shouting at the top of my lungs for help. No help came. I then went to the front and asked to speak to the on-shift manager. When the manager came up, instead of offering to help me with my inquiry/problem, he just gave excuses. He actually said it was the law that all associates go on break at the same time, which is why nobody could help me. Bull cramp. I am calling the store manager tomorrow morning to file a formal complaint. This was literally the worst Wal-Mart experience I’ve ever had. Ever. Do NOT go here. For any reason. They just. Don’t. Care. About anything.
