Hello Neighbor! My name is Chris Nevins and I have 25+ years of carpentry and finish trades experience.

Prior to starting my business, I worked for nine years as a journeyman in the Detroit Carpenter’s Union. After years of driving long commutes, I left the union, earned my builder’s license and began contracting in 2003. Since then, I have weathered the post-​9/​11 economic slump and am excited to see prosperity once again on the rise.

While at different times, I have employed up to 4 workers, I have since simplified my business to just myself and enjoy being the one in contact with my customers, ensuring their satisfaction.

If large projects come my way, I regularly partner up with other fellow contractors when only one set of hands just isn’t enough to get the job done in safe, timely, and excellent manner.

I am a grateful husband to my wife, Kelly, and father to my four awesome children: two boys and two girls.

I have a BA in worship ministry from Spring Arbor University and am a music minister at my church in Saline. I enjoy using my musical skills to not only praise our Creator, but to help strengthen and encourage people I meet. My instruments are voice, guitar, drums, and some piano. I also serve in the regular summer mission trip to different areas of Tennessee to help lesser advantaged homeowners with much needed repairs.

Since 2013, I have been an assistant varsity track coach for the Tecumseh High School boy’s and girl’s teams, working with the throwing field events. I love the kids I coach and am amazed at how much fun we have together.

In my free time I like reading, being outdoors, sitting on the porch/​deck swing with wife and kids, and gazing upon a breath-​taking sunset while sipping on an iced coffee
