I think that consistency is the main problem here. I have had the same order on different occasions and the quality wasn’t the same. Overall the food is ok nothing special. A bit over salty on some items. I guess it’s worth a try and see how you do. Some people love it some don’t.

Went for Easter brunch & it was amazing. The restaurant was empty when we first got there which scared me a bit, but 1130 the restaurant was full. It did get a little crowed, but that’s to be expected on Easter. The quality of the food was good, but the staff is what really makes this place. All of the staff was so attentive(even to a party of 10) — I never had to find my waiter to ask for something, he was always there. Thanks to the amazing customer service, I’ll be back.

On March 6th I had my daughter’s Christening Party here. The food was great but the hospitality doesn’t exist ! The«manager» Jessica had told us prior to the occasion that she doesn’t charge for guests who RSVP but don’t attend. We invited over 100 people. 104 confirmed, however, only 100 attended. When we brought this to Jessica’s attention she said, oh I have to charge you. Not a problem ! Just don’t lie to me in the future ! I’m a business woman and I understand but integrity is also what will make costumers come back !!! The servers were rude and we felt rushed. They spoke about us in Spanish because they figured we didn’t understand them ! This was so upsetting how can a reputable establishment speak like this out in the open? Why does Tony allow this? Please think twice when you deal with people like this… what a shame

Not sure if it was my particular dish but I didn’t like the lasagna it was to sour do to the cottage cheese they use and it didn’t contain any meat inside. The meat ball that comes with the dish was really dry with little flavor. The waiter was excellent and the wait time was fairly quick. The sangria both white and red are good. The red is a little fruiter than the white. Overall I’ll give it another go as my girlfriend bought the Chilean Sea bass and liked it.

This is just about the buffet. The Italian buffet. An idea, by the way who’s time HAS come. Vitale’s Tuesday night buffet is good, the food is fresh and tasty. They even have prime rib that is really good. But they never seem to change the menu. And they never seem to have a basic pasta dish. How about some spaghetti with meat balls for a change? or with Sausage? Enough with the vodka sauce and manicotti already. Change the menu a bit. But it is a good buffet. And very easy on your wallet.

Nice neighborhood restaurant where the neighborhood waitress was stubborn and stuck in her ways. Item priced on menu wasn’t honored on bill. She said too bad — she couldn’t change it; «It was a misprint». Lobster ravioli appetizer– very good. Caprese Salad — large portion, very good. House salad — eh. Dressing had too much vinegar. Scallops — good, over priced. Mashed potatoes– bland. Broccoli — way too salty. Side of linguini — great value for the $ — too much oil. Bread — delicious as was the oil & onion dip. All in all — with the groupon — great value for the $ but we thought it was disgusting that they argued over $ 1 and would not honor their advertised price!

The Tuesday night Italian buffet is pretty good, but has gotten worse over the past few months. The chicken dishes are not tasty at all. The rest of the food is decent, but not that great. The desserts stink. The clams and mussels are out of their shells. The macaroni is good. Eggplant is usually good. Not crazy about the antipasto. Good for stuffing yourself, but not for quality cuisine. Waitresses and waiters are exceptional.

Coming to Jersey couldn’t have been any better on this past Sunday beautiful fall afternoon. My mom, aunt, and I took a little trip to see our cousin over in NJ. He’s really my second cousin and their first. Anyway after a few suggestions from him we were off in his car heading to Vitale’s. During the car ride I started looking at reviews in the backseat with my aunt. I will be honest at first I was dreading it but now?! No way man! Let’s go back NOW!!! So we get there… it’s a little crowded but it reminds me of other restaurants I’ve been to in Jersey. After all of us perusing the menu and not being able to decide someone suggests we do family style. It wasn’t me because I literally sat in my seat in debate mode. The Chilean Sea Bass special looked good but so did the Scallop special. Or should I get Lobster Raviolis?! Oh man my taste buds and brain were on overload. I was so torn it was almost ridiculous so when someone said family style I was relieved in a sense. So our waitress comes and brings us some nice crusty bread and bruschetta to start. The bruschetta alone I could easily eat with a spoon. Just so fresh and light. Heavenly. I’m weird with bruschetta if it’s too oniony or garlicky we have a problem. Yes me the Italian has a problem when things such as bruschetta are just too damn garlicky or oniony. Vitale’s makes it perfect for my taste buds. For family style we ordered the following: — Spiedini Alla Romana: White Bread Stuffed Mozzarella Cheese, Pecorino Romano, Garlic in a Caper Anchovy Sauce. This appetizer alone is making me run back here in an instant! Holy smokes!!! This is DEE-licious!!! The anchovies are not overwhelming by any means. Hell I didn’t even know it had anchovy in it! — Involtini Di Melanzane: Eggplant Stuffed with Ricotta in fresh Marinara. Again… Bring me back to Vitale’s for more!!! Some of the best eggplant I’ve ever had. Period. — Insalata di Cesare: A great Cesare salad. Unfortunately no picture because my cousin immediately started serving it. — Rigatoni Ripieni: Stuffed Rigatoni in a Chardonnay wine & mushroom sauce. Pretty darn tasty if I do say so myself. — Tortellini Alla Romano: Prosciutto, Peas, Tomatoes in a Parmesan Cream Sauce. Hellooooo?! This was thee best pasta dish we had. — Gamberi Scampi: Shrimp Scampi over linguini. I only had a tiny bit as I was basically stuffed at this point. It was good though. — Boneless Stuffed Pork Chop: Pork Chops stuffed with Mozzarella & Prosciutto in a Madeira Mushroom Sauce. I can only vouch for the sauce & mushrooms because I was stuffed and it was quite good. Will I be back to Vitale’s? You betcha!!! Mmmm mmmmm good! Thanks for the great family lunch!

Had a great meal tonight which made up for the not so great one we had here a few months ago. Service was very good too. The Osso buco special was delicious, as was one of the appetizer specials — stuffed portobello with sausage, mozzarella and broccoli rabe. Brought a lot home… we were stuffed!

The Story: I was invited out by my intern for his mother’s birthday. Food: I didn’t really like their appetizers — they had a platter of bread cheese, clams, mushrooms and eggplant… I don’t know what they’re trying to do there…, Then I also had the calamari — the batter was hard and subpar and they over cooked the squid. Entrée — the intern got the scallops: it was actually cooked correctly which I am impressed and I had the sea bass… It was also decent but pairing it with deep fried macaroni and cheese was… new? Price: Prices were average. About ~$ 20 a plate. Décor: It was dim inside. Wish they could of turned on the lights… Service: Nothing good or bad for service. They waitress did her job. Parking & Finding the Place: they had a small parking lot and street parking. If this place was busy I can see how parking can be a pain.

Excellent food. Excellent service. Came in here with my husband on a Sunday for lunch. We were seated right away and our waitress was very attentive. We came here with a groupon and ordered the fried calamari as our app. Very fresh and the sauce was delicious. We also had some fresh bread with bruschetta and a salad. All very delicious and fresh. My husband ordered the veal Saltimboca which he thought was great. I ordered the chicken francais. Both came with a side of mixed veggies and we ordered mashed potatoes and garlic bread. I was really impressed with this place and can’t wait to come back.

I heard Vitales was a nice place to eat, so I stopped by yesterday evening for dinner. The menu is fairly priced, but I made the mistake of ordering steak instead of a traditional pasta dish. If you go, don’t order the steak!

Went for a casual last minute dinner last night using the $ 40 groupon. I ordered a glass of Malbec wine and had the«Casa in Cavatelli» for my entrée(homemade pasta with garlic oil and broccoli). Friendly service and food was good. Nice little Italian restaurant on the Main Street of small town Bogota. Nice sun deck view, and I saw a nice patio for summer nights coming up. I would recommend Vitales for lunch or dinner.

Still 5 stars!!! Revamped Menu, FREE food during happy hour! - It’s a great restaurant to take your family to — and a great bar to bring your friends to! It’s seriously the best of both worlds no matter what group your with, or even if you are alone! The atmosphere is great and the food is fantastic. Their pizzas and salads are still my ultimate faves! Their salmon and pasta dishes are too good not to mention too! You have to try everything but my #1. They have a gouda artichoke pizza that is absolutely ridiculous! It’s seriously probably one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted and guess what — They can still make this on GF dough!!! :) Another favorite is their Island salad! Now they can make anything you want so get creative(get it chopped for instance) just because the menu says THATSHOWITIS — Doesn’t mean that’s all it can be! They are such a creative restaurant and aim to please! So ask what’s good, don’t be afraid to ask for recommendations The employees esp. the bartenders have the best suggestions and a secret menu only the coolest people know about! Ask for it! It’s got specials on their that I am not allowed to mention — because I took an oath to keep it a secret! The password however is — Secret Menu! If you are local — they deliver! and if you are not — they cater! How lucky for all of us that they make eating their food so convenient. Love it here!

My boyfriend and I got delivery from here and we weren’t thrilled. We ordered a 15 piece medium buffalo wings. which were okay. They were pretty mild in my. opinion and the sauce was heavily butter based. The wings were small but they were decent. We also each ordered the chicken parmesan sandwiches and were sorely disappointed. The bread wasn’t toasted and was the kind of bread. I’d expect to be used for garlic bread. There was practically no cheese on the sandwiches and I had to add my own shredded mozz. Overall, very disappointed. Not sure if I would eat from here again.

Went here for a birthday I was invited to. The restaurant was bought out for the event minus the bar area. The tables were arranged for from 2 very long tables. and there was a space cleared out for the buffet. There were many different options to choose from, veal chicken, pork, beef, salad, and a large dessert section featuring various cakes. None of the food was bad, but none of it really wow-ed me either. Seems like it could be a nice place to have a quiet dinner, I could come back.
