History

Established in 2007.

Gerdes was long ago established in Teaneck with roots as far back as the 1950’s. It had changed hands several times until the owners of Classic Quiche Café acquired ownership in 2007. Since that time they have attempted to return to the early hay days of this community staple, hence the name Gerdes «Again». It has recently undergone a renovation with a brand new kitchen complimented with the addition of another local town staple, Therese Limone, a long time friend and superb cook. The original owners shared their infamous recipes for the deli salads (including German Potato Salad) to help bring Gerdes back to her glory days. It is still a work in progress, but with such good food to be had and a new and clean atmosphere, we look forward to many good friends returning to an established community home away from home, sister to the Classic Quiche Café.

Joe and Charlene Sciarrone are local Business owners of both the Classic Quiche Café and Gerdes Again Deli & Liquors. They have raised four children in Teaneck and continue to be active in the promotion and betterment of the community.
