Save your money by not going to any Mexican restaurant in New Tazewell or Tazewell. This is the best «Mexican» food you’ll get in this area. 5 stars for beating out all the Mexican restaurants here. They aren’t cheap about there fire sauce here (they actually leave them on the tables!!!), which is unique to me because in Chicago, some of the taco bells act like the fire sauce is gold or something and you have to request for them.

Taco Bell in Tazewell is decent, if you go there in the day time. My husbands job keeps him out late, so when We have to go through taco bell (it’s the only place in town open that late) we always have to check our bags or come back and get it fixed. Not once has the night shift ever got our orders right, and we have to go there all the time. We went a few nights ago and I made the most simple order. nachos and cheese and a baha blast to drink. Well, they gave me a order of chips and a carbonated water to drink, which was awful. Not to mention, leaving my husbands burrito out, leaving out his fork (as always), no sauce, and no napkins. This place never gets it right at night, somebody needs to fix it and there are a couple of very unfriendly employees. However, if You want to go in the day time it is fine, they do a pretty good job. just beware going through there at night. I don’t know if they are falling asleep at work or what, but its awful at night.
