History
Established in 2011.
Having worked in restaurants since he was a teenager in Chicago, Chef Ross Siragusa has learned to cook anything and everything but chose true Italian dishes for this restaurant because of his Sicilian heritage. He grew up with lasagna and pizza for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. I don’t know how much more authentically Italian you can get than that. The recipes at Siragusa are Ross’s own creations. April Siragusa his wife decorated the place to bring a cozy Italian café setting to the restaurant with wonderful choice of Italian music in the background you ar transformed to a like home friendly atmosphere. Not a stuffy setting just come in and relax and feel at home.
Meet the Business Owner
Ross S.
Business Owner
Chef Ross Siragusa was born in 1961 in Chicago, Illinois. His Grandparents arrived from Sicily to Ellis Island in the early 1900’s and soon relocated to the Italian section of Chicago. Since childhood, Ross was introduced and highly influenced by the old Italian style of homemade cooking. In his 33 years as an Executive Chef he has traveled throughout the United States sharing his traditional Italian cooking styles and bringing back the basics of real home cooked meals. Now he has the opportunity to share these culinary delights as he has opened Siragusa’s Italian Restaurant right here in the Salt Lake Valley. Located at 4115 S Redwood Road in Taylorsville, Siragusa’s features made from scratch sauces & soups, as well as traditional pasta dishes, salads, sandwiches and pizzas. The décor will bring you back to old Italy and the aromas wafting from the kitchen will make you think of being in a cozy café like so many of those that can be found from where these delicious dishes originated
