Wonder Nails Spa

I’m giving this nail salon 1 star because Unilocal says I have to. I had the worst experience ever here that resulted in having to have toe nail removal surgery. This place obviously isn’t up to the health code or else this wouldn’t have happened. I would never recommend this salon to anyone ever. Horrible, horrible, horrible!

Customer service is not bad but they do the worst quality work ever! I literally give up on these places. Never will I try to come here or the other one in this mall even if it’s an emergency like I had the other day. I’m not a nail tech so why am I constantly having to show you what you’re doing wrong? My nails look so cross so much for $ 46 down the drain. Do not come here!

I wish I could give this place zero stars! I spent $ 80 4 days ago for a deluxe pedicure and shellac manicure. All the shellac came completely off after 2 days! Now my toes are already chipped! I get my hand and feet done every two weeks and never once has this happened to me!

The salon itself is very beautiful and clean. Good first impression. The service was ok. My nails, however turned out bad. I got a fill-​in here and it was my first time here. Normally I get them done in NY, but I am no longer in NY :(a woman all the way in the back corner at # 6 did them. She seemed annoyed with me at 1 point when I couldn’t understand her and I felt bad! She left some of the old nail polish on and then did clear over top with white tips and a sparkly line above the tips, as this is what I requested. But you could still see the black nail polish under one of the new nails. She did them very fast and quite sloppy and some of the nails were slanted to not match the other ones. What I asked for was the simplest thing because I didn’t want them to be messed up looking. I can’t imagine if I asked for a design!
2^nd experience: I went back to get them taken off. This was done by a man in the front right corner who was annoyed that I wanted them off and didn’t want anything else done. When he was done taking them off, he told me to go wash my hands and I asked where the sink was. He practically pointed to the ground and said right there. So I just walked away in the direction he pointed looking all over for the sink. It was all the way on the other side of the salon in a little hall way type thing. He charged me 10 bucks and I decided I really don’t like this place.
My S/O’s mom’s first experience was good there but she went back to get a fill and asked for something similar to what I got there (white tips with a sparkly dark blue line) and the man said «I think I have, let me check» and he came back with sparkly silver and told her he was gonna do that instead because it’s more adult and doesn’t look like kid nails…
That was the last straw for us! We need to find a new nail spot with people that aren’t rude and know how to do nails/​designs, ASAP!

I loved my nail tech Mary she was sweet, spoke clearly, paid attention to details even while talking, and did I mention she was friendly! I could only imagine having to scrub people’s feet (not to enjoying), but Mary did it with a smile, so I would highly recommend asking for her, I will be back again! –oh, and I forgot to mention that I walked into this salon thinking it was the other salon they have here in the mall, I didn’t know they had two here they are both similar in appearance and décor, but I am glad I came to this one which is a bit smaller, but my experience here can’t be matched with the tech I had at their other salon. I will only be coming back here to see Mary :-)

Went here for a great shellac manicure today! I must say I haven’t been in here since the renovations a couple years ago it looks beautiful and super clean! Not sure who did my nails today but he was great. Very talkative and did a great job and made sure to double check and triple check my nails every time he applied a coat! Super friendly I will be returning!

This place is very relaxing! Upon walking in, it was very clean, and didn’t smell like most nail salons do. There was peaceful music playing, and they also have tv’s if that is what you like. The waiting area is so comfortable. Although we didn’t need to wait very long at all till we were seated at a station. The staff wasn’t very talkative, which I preferred. They did an excellent job on my nails. And the price was very reasonable. I would take my friends here and recommend to go here. Excellent!

This place is very nice. Its very hard to understand them though. I went to get a french manicure. And he went to put fake nails on. Its hard to explain things to them. But they do an amazing job.

This place is very clean with a lot of smiling faces. Great service for the buck. The full service pedicure minus the toe polish is really awesome. It’s the best service I’ve gotten from all the salons I’ve visited in the past. This is my 4^th time here and will continue to come here to fix my worn feet.

It’s a nail salon with women doing a job that I would hate. My tech was pleasant, spoke adequate English and did a nice job. I have been here before and I would come again.

Dirty, no one spoke English, and I felt very rushed. Thumbs down

This place is very appealing when you walk by and I believe it has been recently remodeled. They have massage chairs and dyed water for your foot bath (not sure if that is pretty standard or not). I paid $ 25 and the polish looks great but a day later and my the bottoms of my feet were dry and rough. My feet weren’t even bad going in but for $ 25 I would expect them not to be rough. Also the woman I had tried to upsell me on some hot stone package while doing my feet for an extra $ 10. Glad I passed now that I have seen the results. So nice looking place but I am less than impressed with the actual results of the pedicure.
