History

Established in 1986.

* Started by two young brothers, Steve & Keith, at the ripe ages of 20 and 18, respectively, in Livonia on 6 Mile and Newburgh.

* Steve and his wife currently own The Bulk Store.

* Moved to Taylor in 1993 to the corner of Pardee and Northline in Emerald Square. (And we’ve been thriving ever since!)

Here’s a man who embodies all of the cheerfulness and positivity that sugars and sweets bring to the Downriver community. The Bulk Store is his self-​proclaimed «second home» and «first-​born child». He truly is living the dream each and every day.

What a great store! The bulk food store always brings back childhood memories, and this location doesn’t disappoint.
I stopped in here today with my son, boy oh boy hence the term «like a kid in a candy store» trust me he likes this place.
I had no real reason to stop in today but I did get a few things. The prices are good and selection amazing. This location is clean and the staff helpful and friendly.
I saw a bunch of old school Christmas candies that really took me down memory lane. My son and I enjoyed our visit, especially him!
A great place and fun little store, not many around. Definitely worth a visit

This is the best place to get not just candy but all sorts of snacks! The s’mores mix is to die for. Gummies are very tender. They also have chocolate covered peanut butter peanut clumps (gourmet peanut butter chocolate peanuts), that are excellent. And the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable!
