Sadly, with our old house we know these folks too well, but I can’t recommend them enough. Great service! From a whole new sewer line to a clogged shower drain. We’ve seen it all and they have always done a great job taking care of us.

Thought I had a leak in the waterline in the front yard. Michael gave me an estimate for digging and repair but then pressure tested and found no evidence of leaking. There is still the possibility that there is a sewer issue so if I find water in the yard again I will call them back to check the line with a camera. Michael was very professional and left me with no questions and no surprises price-​wise.

I was concerned that I had a leak in my system because the water company said I had used ten times more water than I usually use. Melvin took the time to explain every part of the house plumbing system to me and made sure I had no leaks. He pressure tested the system and inspected everything and confirmed I had no leaks. Now I just have to get the water company to believe it. I will definitely use S&D again.

S & D Plumbing was recommended to me by a neighbor when we had a potential gas leak and when I called, Shelby was so professional and helpful and was able to work me into the schedule that day. She even let me know where I could find a coupon on their website for a little discount. Warren arrived ON TIME and actually gave the 30 minute notice promised so I could stay at work until I was actually able to come home to meet him instead of the usual «be there between noon and five, so take the entire afternoon off from work» scenario. Warren knew EXACTLY what was going on (turned out not to be a gas leak, thankfully) and was also able to fit a tub draining problem we’ve had since we moved to our home. (The house as built in 1959 and, after a few remodels, the drain and the stopper no longer matched up, causing the drain to never full open.) We never realized a 40 year old tub could drain like magic. Warren even had the part he needed in his truck. EASY! I’m so thrilled to have FINALLY found a reliable plumbing service — I was really pleased with the service AND the price.

I did not have to wait long for an appointment. Michael is very knowledgeable and can explain options very thoroughly. He cleaned up completely after he finished the job (kitchen faucet replacement). I would definitely call S & D again.

We’ve got this plumbing leak, and our regular plumber couldn’t locate it after several hours of puzzling over it. They first recommended another company who wouldn’t get involved — they even had «Leak Detection» in their name. I asked for another recommendation and we got these guys. They found this «impossible to find» leak in 2 hours, because they have the gear to find it and they know what they’re doing. We were billed for what John quoted when he arrived and saw the size of our system. We got a repair estimate quickly — John actually hadn’t driven off and came back to the house to give me the numbers. As for the repair, they have the equipment to tunnel under a slab from outside, saving us from drilling through the slab. I don’t know about you, but I can always use less concrete dust in my life!
John was personable and left everything neat and tidy. I look forward to a quick and relatively pleasant resolution to our leak issue.

We realized we had a leak under the ground on a Friday (after 5pm of course!) after water started puddling on the lawn (later found out we were losing about 100 gal per day for a long time). S&D was closed so I left a message. Shelby called later that evening. Although they were booked for Saturday, she worked her magic and was able to get John to help us out. He was amazing. Although nothing was obvious, he narrowed down all the possibilities and found the leak in about 15 minutes, which turned out to be in the small space between the water meter and the turn-​off valve. Had he not been so smart and knowledgeable, we might have experienced a great deal more expense with unnecessary time and cameras. After John fixed the leak he followed up with a pressurized test to ensure no further leaks, and then did a final safety check on all the other faucets & water heater. I appreciated Shelby letting me know about their membership program which saved me 15% on the entire job, as well as coupons on their website (saved us $ 25 bc my husband is military). I’m a happy camper :-)

John and the crew at S&D are the best! They quoted me exactly the cost and were fair with the price. As well had many options for payment as we had the worst luck happen all at once. I greatly apologize but the two men who came yesterday were just as awesome. Thoughtful and caring.
Started off great with our first vacation, a Caribbean cruise, but shortly after we had cat end up with 2 broken legs, costly surgery and followed by a slab leak in our foundation.
Totally drained of savings we were stuck.
Luckily we toughed it out long enough to get some funds together and have S&D come out, do the leak detection and estimate and for a reasonable cost rerouted the water line, not only saving the pocket book but saving our beautiful tile and foundation. We expected jackhammers into the foundation, drywall ripped to shreds etc. None of that. Just a straight, honest and workable deal.
John was here the very next day after the first call bright and early, and he had us fixed in a matter of a few hours. I just can’t thank S&D enough… You don’t realize what you have until it’s taken away and water is BIG deal.

Yet another great experience with S&D. I had a leak from the supply line to my icemaker that ruined some of the boards on my kitchen floor, yikes! Before I replaced the damaged boards, I had S&D come out to fix the leak and make sure all is AOK. Matt C. came out and fixed it and made sure there were no other leaks. I really liked that he laid out some different options for how (and where) to change out the old copper supply pipe, and I was very happy with the solution we decided on. He did a neat, workmanlike job, was very polite and responsive to all my questions and concerns throughout. I signed up for the customer loyalty program and, with the discount on today’s repair, it nearly paid for itself. I also like knowing I have an ongoing relationship with this great plumbing family and that with that program, there won’t be an upcharge if ever I have to call them for emergency service on nights, weekends or holidays.

Fair warning, these guys are crazy expensive. Called them out to replace a 12 gal. water heater when our regular plumber couldn’t make it this week. Quote was $ 1,500. I should have suspected when they showed up in a Mercedes panel van. Service tech was very professional and polite, but wow were they expensive. Obviously, I went with someone else.

I needed a plumber to help pin point a leak that was discovered while replacing a hot water tank. S & D was recommended to me and I called them late on a Thursday afternoon. I was told they could stop by on Friday morning. After 30 min later, I received a call from Amanda who said she had a plumber in the area that was finishing a job and would it be OK if he stopped by. I really appreciated their eagerness and technology to be able to route someone so fast to my home. I know they make money by having more tech visits more homes but compared to the other company I called who told me it would be about 5 business days later, I sure am glad I called S & D.

These guys are my heroes. I spent about ten months with water issues and had four other plumbers out to investigate. I was lacking pressure and my side yard became muddy over a few months. No one else could find a leak and gave me expensive quotes just to investigate further. I was at my wits end when these guys came out. They took their time testing everything and thought critically about my plumbing issues. Because they cared about doing the job correctly, they were able to figure out that I had three completely separate issues to address that were relatively simple fixes, saving me money and putting an end to almost a year of frustration.

Michael and Jeremiah spent the day resolving a slab leak at my house by re-​routing a new line through the attic. They explained the process and kept me abreast of their progress. They completed the repair and cleaned all of their work areas. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat. They were available and great to work with.

A few years ago, when I was purchasing a house, our realtor recommended doing a static test on the drain line since the age of our house. They came the same day and did the test. The results weren’t good, but they communicated well with my realtor and provided a bid for the job. Overall, I was pretty happy with them.
