History

Established in 2010.

Your hosts, Bob Kruk and Ann Brainard, are indeed passionate about sailing. Each has over twenty-​five years of sailing experience on the Great Lakes and the Atlantic Ocean. They both currently hold U.S. Coast Guard 50 Ton Masters sailing licenses with Sailing Endorsements. As Captains and teachers, they also share their knowledge and expertise as certified American Sailing Association instructors.

Before their sailing business, Bob has been a small hardware business owner for 35 years and frequently applies his knowledge to marine industry projects. Previously Ann has been an educator for over 30 years, teaching in the public schools, colleges, and universities and the corporate workplace. Bob and Ann are dedicated sailors who hold the safety, comfort and enjoyment of their guests as their number one priority.

Business Owner

Bob Kruk and his wife Ann Brainard are people with a key ingredient — sailors who are passionate about sailing. They met each other at the turn of the century — with their long time love of sailing certainly a factor in bringing them together. As lifetime boaters, each has well over 25 years of individual sailing experience on the Great Lakes, the Virgin Islands, the Florida Keys, and the Atlantic Ocean. Captain Bob and Captain Ann each currently hold a U.S. Coast Guard 50 Ton Masters License with Sailing Endorsement. In addition, they love to share their sailing knowledge as certified American Sailing Association Instructors, teaching levels ASA 101 – 105. Before their sailing business, Bob has been a small hardware business owner for 35 years and frequently applies his knowledge to marine industry projects.
