History
Established in 1927.
Established in 1927, Marshall Funeral Home is one of the oldest and most trusted funeral homes in the state. Antone Marshall purchased the home with the dream of becoming a funeral director in 1920. He quickly established a reputation of compassionate and dignified service. This philosophy was embraced by his son William Marshall when the torch was handed down to him in 1953. William «Bill» became the managing funeral director upon his return from service during the Korean war. Bill continued the traditions of comforting and guiding families through a very difficult period in their lives. He was known throughout the area for his quick wit, sense of humor and passion for helping others in a time of need. Bill will be surely missed.
