Food is always consistently good. I’ve never had bad food or been in the bathroom afterwards. The negative… They have their girls working there-and by girls I mean a 10 year old and maybe a 14 year old at best. These poor girls are work machines-miserable and cold towards customers. They have zero personality. Poor kids. Always working because it’s cheap and probably free labor. Someone should call DCF. Anyways… prices seem to always«change». Whatever-I’ll remain loyal to the lucky.

The food isn’t bad, decent but I’m highly dispointed otherwise. The prices keep going up so that when you have a menu that’s 6 months or a year old you end up paying more than what you thought you were going to pay but what is more astounding is the last time I ordered from them they had the never to charge extra for a extra thing of sweet and sour and $ 3 extra for duck sauce?

Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The chicken lo mien is amazing and I could eat it for days. I also recommend the shrimp, chicken strips, orange chicken, and white rice. The only thing that can be extremely annoying is the fact that it’s very expensive and I can’t have it often due to that, but the food is stellar.

When you need to pick up a quick meal to go this place fits the bill. We always use their coupons that are on the bottom of their menu. Cutting them out is not necessary. The food is good and comes in decent sized portions. We really like the chicken wings, not necessarily a Chinese dish but crisp and tasty and a good part of a combo meal. We’ve tried many dishes and found only a very few we weren’t fans of. We’ve never had an incorrect order but always pick up ourselves. We’ve been ordering from here for a few years now and the young lady who takes the orders and handles the front desk has always been rude. Working for her family is probably the only customer service job she’ll get but she’s still young and learning. She probably wants to be doing anything else and takes out her frustration the only way she can.

I order here at least once a month. Portion sizes are reasonable. I love getting combination plates here. I only get delivery and service is prompt and food is fresh.

It’s hard to find a good chinese place in Taunton. My dad for example loves chinese and would eat it every day if we let him, so we’ve tried many places. I wouldn’t say this place is amazing or great, but when we order chinese we get it from here. We often have bad service; yet we keep going back. We don’t go back because the food is amazing, but it’s better than some other places and it’s close. If you call the girl who answers the phone isn’t always helpful and sometimes rude. If you ask for mustard make sure you’re doing take-out and not delivery. More than 50% of the time they will not give it to you. For some reason they are very stingy with their mustard. More often than not we are getting General Tso’s Chicken. I do prefer their chicken flavor over other places which make theirs more orange. I do not like the orange General Tso’s, I like it when it’s dark. Their fried chicken however is more batter than chicken. Overall, if this place is close to you and you don’t want to go far try it, but don’t expect anything amazing. If you’re willing to go further away I am sure there are other places that are better. We often have called or returned to complain for getting the order wrong, forgetting mustard and what not. They never improve.

Messed up my order, nothing great, overpriced for quality. Awkward ordering from children that are there all day everyday.

The food at Lucky House is decent enough, and I would rate Lucky House with 3 stars if it weren’t for the inconsistent and often disappointing service when ordering take-out or delivery over the phone. The girl who usually(don’t remember anyone else ever answering) is likely a relative to the owner(s), and she is far too young to be taking orders over the phone AND at the counter in a restaurant with the volume Lucky House enjoys. Her attitude is often abrupt, if not outright rude, and her attention to detail needs a little work. On a busy day, it can be hit or miss whether you will receive your order as expected. I sometimes get General Tso’s Chicken dinner combo(D15), but it isn’t anywhere near the best I’ve had. The chicken used in their General Tso’s isn’t always white meat, and often contains more batter than chicken. I usually order Chicken with Broccoli dinner combo(D11), which satisfies well enough. Chicken is tasty, broccoli has a bit of crunch to it(which I like), and the sauce is wonderful when mixed into the rice. I sometimes order the Chicken with Cashew Nuts dinner combo(D10), and while I do enjoy it, sometimes the amount of chicken in the dish is lacking. Not quite the same sauce as the Chicken & Broccoli, not as flavorful, but it does the trick. The dinner combos come with two sides, I usually choose chicken fingers and an egg roll. The chicken fingers are often overcooked, sometimes dry, and small. The egg roll is pretty good most of the time. Dinner combos have a limited selection of sides you can have with your meal and do not include beef teriyaki or boneless spare ribs. Essentially, we would order Chinese food from another restaurant if there was one closer to home. Definitely not my favorite, but it’ll do when pizza has worn out its welcome.
