We would recommend Mike and D&M Home Inspectors to anyone! We are first time home buyers and Mike was extremely helpful and knowledgable as he took us through our home inspection. He came recommended to us through our realtor. As we followed him around the house, he answered any questions we had and educated us on important things to know about this specific home and home owning in general. He never made us feel rushed and spent over 4 hours with us. Throughout the inspection he took over 100 photographs that were compiled into a very detailed inspection report that broke everything down. We really trusted Mike’s experience and recommendations and his inspection helped us seal the deal for our first home. He was very reasonably priced for all the time and work he puts into his inspections. He was always prompt — usually there before we were! We actually had to do a second inspection closer to closing because of a bad winter that didn’t allow us full view of the house at the initial inspection and we called Mike. We were concerned about asbestos in our home that was built in the mid 1960s so we wanted an asbestos inspection.
Mike arrived on time and was very professional to inspect the home. He explained what he would do and he answered the many questions we had (what about the roof, what about the extracting hood in the kitchen, …).
When we received the results, Mike explained what the suggested next steps were.
A few weeks later, we had a follow up question and he did not hesitate to respond, in a very timely fashion. Very appreciated service!
