This office is the best. Staff are friendly and personable. Dr. Sach is a personable and likeable. I would definitely go back to see him if necessary.

Dr. Sach is a very kind and compassionate doctor. He made me feel very comfortable during the consultation and took the time to explain the procedure. I never felt rushed and he answered all my questions. He knew I was quite nervous during the actual exam and continued to calm my fears.
His office staff was also excellent. Although I checked my insurance before making my appointment, they double-​checked with my insurance to make sure my office visits and procedure were covered and clearly identified to me what charges I should expect to pay. Each time I came to the office the front office as well as the back office were friendly and treated me respectfully.

I, too, if I could, give him zero stars. I first sought his «expertise» back in 2007. On our first consultation, he told me I had a «lazy rectum». I had been then few years into searching for the cause of my GI issues. We are now in 2014, granted my case was difficult, but a «lazy rectum» which he made no diagnosis nor a point of saying that is was a medical issue is an actual medical condition called Anismus. After ordering upper and lower endoscopies that were unremarkable, he offered to prescribe anti-​depressant which I declined. While I appreciate that off label use of some anti-​depressant are found to be helpful in GI motility, don’t we, patients, would rather find the cause before slapping a bandaid that may not even help and cause harmful long term effect on ones psyche? I am a strong advocate to treat ones body as a whole and he is not that kind of doctor. I did not care for the way he practices medicine.

Excellent experience from beginning to end (no pun intended!). Staff really friendly and professional. Procedural environment clean. Starting with a nice warm blanket, his team worked together setting me up. I felt comfortable and relaxed, as his staff were attentive and relaxed too. Very glad I did this procedure (colonoscopy), and glad I chose Dr Sach. He was referred by my primary physician.

I had a great colonoscopy by Dr Sach. He is one of the finest doctors around. I never met such a compassionate man and his staff. I would highly recommend him for your doctor.

Quite simply, Dr. Sach is a wonderful doctor. Full of compassion and humor, he knows how to calm a patient’s apprehensions about their health. It’s rare today to find a doctor who is so effusively warm and full of humanitarian energy, yet is also very easy to talk to.
I would eagerly recommend Dr. Sach to anyone, and I have, on numerous occasions. While I’m thrilled to say my health is excellent and I don’t have to see doctors
regularly, I wish all my doctors could be as calm, thoughtful, personable and empathetic as Dr. Sach.

My father (a physician himself) was referred to Dr. Sach for a routine endoscopy. The consultation was easy, and Dr. Sach patiently and charasmatically answered every question we had prior to the procedure.
During the endoscopy DR. Sach was so diligent that he found a tiny lesion in an area that he was not even supposed to be looking at. His meticulous endoscopy found a small cancerous growth that was found at a very early stage. For his thorough work in an otherwise simple procedure, I think Dr. Sach might have saved my fathers life.

I wish I could give him 0 stars! He’s a complete a-​hole! The minute you walk in, he’s trying to sell you his colonoscopy drinks! If you ask him a question that he doesn’t know the answer to, he makes a smart-​ass remark. He is one of the worst doctors that I have ever come across. The only way I’d send someone to him is if I hated that person and wanted payback!

Dr. Sach is among the top physicians I have ever seen ! He is concerned and monitors his patients regardless of what concerns they have. Dr Sach went far beyond his own specialty in discussing my situaton and offering outstanding referrals and advice. I rely on his humor, knowledge and judgment in all of my medical concerns. Go see Dr. Joel Sach and you will feel better, for sure !

Dr. Sach has been treating my wife for years and I’ve seen him as well. He has a GREAT patient manner, very easy to talk to and is a good listener, despite having a busy schedule. His front office staff and the surgical staff are very good as well, I’ve usually been able to get in to see him on short notice for urgent matters. He is highly recommended for GI issues. He has a small surgical office attached and can do basic procedures like endoscopies at minimal expense compared to a hospital.

Dr. Sach is an amazing doctor and he really wants to develop a relationship with patients. Also, the standard of care in his office is great.

I have never written a review of anything on Unilocal before, but my experience with Dr. Sach was so profoundly positive, I thought I should let others know.
I see a lot of doctors for a variety of ailments. Rarely, if ever, have I encountered a warmer, more patient and kind doctor. He was extremely reassuring. He did not make me feel like he was in a hurry to get to the next patient. I felt as though he would have stayed with me as long as necessary.
I suffer from anxiety and was deeply upset and frightened about pain and discomfort I was experiencing. He assured me that he would get to the bottom of it and he did.
I had to bring my seven year old son to the appointment and he was sweet to him as well.
We had a follow up phone conversation in which he remembered all the pertinent details of my situation.
If all doctors were like Dr. Sach, the world would be a better place.

My family doctor referred me to this doctor. My past gastro was ineffective at helping me resolve my issues. Dr Sach spent the time to listen to me, and after a discussion with me, scheduled an endoscopy and a colonscopy with me. The appt was scheduled quickly and efficiently. The 2 procedures went very well and I attended a followup visit. Dr Sach provided me with a new medical approach to my issues and was very pleasant to speak with. I was very happy with his timely service he and his office provided.
