NRG Heating and Air Conditioning

This summer in Los Angeles has been brutal with the heat and of course my air conditioner went out a few weeks ago at the peak of a heatwave. So I did a basic google search and saw all the positive reviews about the company on Unilocal so I decided to check them out. I am so HAPPY I did! They saved the day!!!
These guys are fantastic! Prompt, courteous, honest guys. They quickly fixed the cause of the issue and advised on future prevention. Will definitely use them again if anything ever comes up! Response time — Excellent. They were at my place less than 60 minutes after calling
Work performed — Excellent. Diagnosed the issue almost immediately and replaced the part in less than 20 minutes total!

We had to have our air conditioning unit repaired but unfortunately, the company we called the day before was unable to come. Feeling disappointed and furious at the same time, I decided to make calls.
NRG answered my call. I told them my problem and was met with a disheartening reply. They were fully booked that day and it wouldn’t be easy to provide a same day service. However, they will try to call me back as soon as an available time slot opens up and if there’s none, they would book the earliest appointment for me the next day. Although there’s a sliver of hope, I never expected much. To my surprise, I received a call 2 hours later informing me that a time slot really did opened up and a serviceman would come before 6PM.
A few minutes before the clock struck 6PM, I heard a knock on my door. When I opened it, I saw a smiling, cordial, uniformed middle-​aged guy at my doorstep. Though I forgot his name, I can’t forget his wonderful service. It was flawless — from start to finish. Before he entered my home, he took of his boots first and before he went on with his work, he made sure to cover his work area to make sure the floors don’t get dirty.
As for how he solved the problem, it was done impressively. Before he began with his work, he asked me details about the problem. I told him that the AC wasn’t giving enough cool air and that I haven’t tried to check the problem myself fearing I might make the problem worse. Seeing my point, he began to check my AC. After several minutes, he pointed out the problem — broken thermostat. Fortunately, he had a part ready at the van so he just took the spare to replace the broken one. It was done quickly. Although I was concerned with how swift the repairs were made, the cool air that finally fanned out from the AC dispelled it.
After paying a fair price, he cleaned up after his area and left my home politely. Considering the kind of service I received that night, I don’t think 5 stars would be enough for it.
