My ex-​landlord uses this plumbing service and they send out the most incompetent bunch of people. It makes me wonder if they are even licensed.

My fridge went out so I called a local company (Gardena appliances) to come and check it out. It was a couple issues a part needed to be replaced (forgot which part) as well as a freon leak and then refill the freon. Myrna and her husband gave a reasonable quote I told them I would contact them after reviewing the issue with my wife. I then remembered that we had a contract with fidelity home warranty and decided on contacting them. They referred me to this company they came out rather promptly, i believe tony was my technician. He was concise and direct to the point with his words.
I asked him about the fridge; he said he had to replace a part and refill freon. I responded well if the freon is empty is because it emptied out through somewhere I asked him how was he going to find the hole and repair it. We went back and forth on the subject and he assured me it will work for years. I asked him if I can trust him to work on his own and I will leave to work. I did he locked the door behind him and left the house intact. I came home from work to a fully functional fridge. AWESOME! short lived joy on the 93^rd day my fridge broke I contacted fidelity I was over my 90 day warranty for parts and labor. blah blah. After a few phone calls they where willing to waive the 3^rd day. I was told HIS would contact me. no contact I called them they where not in a hurry with me. I called 3 times every time Gale would tell me shes working on scheduling some thing for me. I called a final time around 4:35 and was told the office was closed to not call back until after 9am.
closest window they offered was Saturday, It was Tuesday UNACCEPTABLE I SAID! they send a technician on weds. I had to leave for work so my wife was home she attempted to ask the technician some questions and he was really short and rude. She called me at work, I stepped out of work to call HIS the person on the phone was slightly confrontational in regards to the matter then he claimed that he was doing us a favor. If they wouldve done things right since the first time they wouldn’t have to be doing me any «favors»… I regret not calling Myrna back a Gardena Appliances.

Worst company ever! They came out to diagnose a shower faucet leak on a Friday. The technician said they would let me know about the part by Monday or Tuesday. Two weeks later I still never heard from them. I called them after 10 days and they said they would call me back. They never called. Turned out the person wrote my phone number down wrong and I never received the call. They are a rip off too. They did work on a rental house I have also and overcharged me so badly it is embarrassing. Run far away from this company!

PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY the above rating does not do the justice on who they are. They are total fraud, they took $ 1000 for my pluming issue. I talked to guy name Alex, explained my plumbing issue and they said they are the expert and have proper leak detection tool to fix the issue. They came dug my concrete and replace one pipe and showed me the hole. Now after 2 weeks the same problem arise on the same place. When I reported the issue came back, the same guy Alex told me it’s a different pipe few inches away and now they will take another $ 800 to fix. Seriously??? They think people are that stupid, we’ll buy in what they said. How come within 2 weeks same issue can occur in same place by different pipe? Of course they didn’t do the proper leak detection test to find all the leaks the first time. Now I have to pay the price for this??? If you really want a honest, good plumber, please never ever use them. I have all the pictures and call recorded and I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and filing legal claim with this company.

Had my water heater go out on me Saturday night and by Monday afternoon I have a brand new water heater installed professionally by home improvement.
As a real estate agent I know great service when I see it and let me tell you that I will be referring all my clients.

I loved the service I received from HIS. Had emergency on Sunday morning, called in, the technician was sent out immediately to my house, fixed everything quickly, gave me instructions and recommendations to avoid same future problems. Definitely recommend you to contact HIS if you have any emergency. They do their work professionally and efficiently. I refer HIS to all my family members and friends and already had somebody who used their services and was also very pleasantly surprised by excellent service they received!!!

I cannot express how great of a plumbing company these guys are! They are always prompt, and extremely professional with their work, not to mention how polite and caring their customer service and technicians are! As for myself, i needed to take advantage of their ²⁴⁄₇ service due to a major leak within the house and they said «no problem, we will be right there». their prices are fantastic and i am amazed at how coordinated their company is, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Outright my favorite company. PS: no job is too small for them!

I had an emergency, the water heater was leaking and this company came to my house right away, they did professional work, replaced my water heater. There were assigned to me for a few problems at different properties I own. Each time they were either incompetent, diagnosed the problem incorrectly and I needed a second opinion in order for the warranty company to cover the repair.
On occasion, they actually told the warranty company that a part was missing and they would need me to pay them to install that part, as the warranty company doesn’t cover missing parts.
However, my contractor confirmed that the part had been there all along.
In spite of the extra inconvenience, I jump through hoops now to get the warranty company to send another plumber, because of Home Improvement Services incompetence and dishonesty.

Do not go with this company. The manager was very inconsistent with the explanation of services needed to fix my gas problem. Told me it was a code violation and that my home warrantee would not cover any violation work. Well I called the city building and safety, gas company and other professionals and they said my gas line was completely within code. Well because Home Improvement Services told the warrantee company that it was a code fix, they (warrantee company) wouldn’t cover it. I felt like this was a ploy to get funded faster through me than wait for a warrantee company check. Well work was done but don’t trust what they have to say. Much like any plumbing issues, get a second and third opinion.

They are nice enough people over the phone — but that’s the problem. They will NOT STOP CALLING the property management company I work for to solicit business.
We have told them nicely, then very directly, then not quite as nicely — no dice. The calls continue. It smacks of desperation and frankly, it’s not professional. The volume of calls and the lack of basic common sense to abide by it when someone says «No thank you, please stop calling.» have ensured that we will never give them a try.
