A few years ago I was working for a Production Designer and thought I could set up his Quickbooks myself. Needless to say I made a bit of a mess of his multiple accounts, his loanout and tracking his taxable business expenses. Through word of mouth I heard of Holly at HM Quickbooks and she came to us in the office and was not only able to set up our Quickbooks for his business and personal accounts, but was able to train us on how to easily use the system, track expenses and how to run reports. Even if I would not have hit a brick wall in trying to set all of this up, I still probably would not have utilized all of the advanced functions available in the program. She also answered questions for us and left us with a fully functioning and easy to use system for a rather complicated business. A little while later I was working for a composer who had made a mess of his accounting. I suggested HM Quickbooks and after convincing him that he was in dire need of an update, I called them again. Voila! He now actually enjoys doing his own books and it has made a world of difference when it comes to tax time. Do yourself a favor creatives and busy people… call a pro. Once you get your system set up and she trains you on Quickbooks you may even find it fun. HIGHLY recommend.
