Karl Flammer Ford

Another excellent service experience with our leased Ford Fusion. Met with a smile, and they had the work done in less than ONE HOUR!

My 2013 Fusion was hit in the rear while parked by a teenage girl on a cellphone. Flammer was an approved repair shop for State Farm, her insurance carrier and since I had bought my car there, I took out there to be fixed. Toni on the office was SUPER. She photographed the damage, paperwork was minimal, and also said arranged for a rental that the insurance covered. She told me the part needed would take a few days to order and asked for my preferred contact method (email for me). Four business days later, she emailed me to come in. I signed the forms, rental car pickup was waiting for me. She emailed me when the work was done. The car looked fantastic! Flammer had detailed it and it was immaculate inside and out. A totally great experience!

It was again the best experience. I had not so good credit but needed a car. they worked really hard finding me the car the matched my wish list and what was in my budget. They really went out of there way to help me. I went to other dealers about 6 and I found myself right back at Karl Flammer. my family and friends had purchased cars from there and why fix something that isn’t broken. it was outstanding service and because of it I will be a customer for life. If you want good honest people and a great car/​truck/​SUV then your headed in the right direction. They even call and check in with me to make sure I don’t have any questions. Which I found to be very helpful since my New 2016 Ford Fusion has so many features I still needed some help. There was not one person that I came in contact with that didn’t have a smile and something nice to say.

I HNDED THE SALES GUY $ 1000. When I returned to there office with a check to buy the car he only handed me $ 500 back. He admits in the video he dropped my money while walking around the parking lot. I walked out of their knowing I handed him $ 1000. He didn’t have me sign anything bc I trusted him. My fault. But if he admits asking me for $ 1000 deposit and I get back and he hands me $ 500 something fishy happened. Owner was very nice. But still didn’t resolve the problem. r

My entire experience with this dealership was unprofessional and horrific! From the owner to the sales manager to the sales representative we received total rudeness and disrespect!
Let me begin with the sales rep.
When my husband and I arrived at the dealership to look at cars we were approached and started asking questions about a Chevy suburban. When I asked him about another truck his response was «that is priced way into the twenties and out of your price range»! Really? Because you never asked what our price range was. I am assuming he thought we weren’t able to afford it according to our apparel. Sorry sales rep that I didn’t put on make up, curl my hair and dress up to go walking around outside in 90 degree weather to just get hot and sweaty! We should have walked away there. However I blew it off and wasn’t going to let his judgements affect me.
We asked if we could take the suburban to our mechanic (who we have used for 4 years for our personal vehicles and business trucks). When we returned the car back to the dealership we told the sales rep what was needed to be done to the car. «Oh it doesn’t need back breaks and you don’t have to have the transmission flushed» was his response… Basically calling us liars! We were just corresponding what our mechanic had let us know about the car.
We went inside to negotiate a price. We settled on a price and when he came back with the paper work it was $ 500 over the price agreed upon. When asked why they called it a «dealers fee». We said no we are paying cash there is no need for the «dealers fee» and demanded the price agreed upon or we were going to walk away.
The sales rep asked us to move desks and to deal with another sales rep!!! The new sales rep/​sales manager magically «waived» the «dealers fee» bringing us back down to the agreed price.
At this point the sales manager was going to go fuel up the car and get it cleaned while we went home to get a check. He asked for a payment to «hold» the vehicle for us while we were gone. We asked how much was needed and $ 1,000 was given to the manager. He folded it up and kept it in his hand.
Mistake #1 he did not count it allowed back to us! (also our mistake we should have asked him to count it back)
Mistake #2 he did not count it in front of us or in front of another sales rep!
Mistake #3 he did not have us sign anything saying how much we gave him (also our mistake)
So we left got lunch/​and a check and headed back to the dealership.
When we sat down to do the paper work the sales manager handed us back the money and says I dropped it out in the parking lot hope it’s all there! When we counted it there was only $ 500 there. When asked where the other $ 500 was he became aggressively defensive and began to tell us we only gave him $ 500 and that he wouldn’t risk his job over a measly $ 500. We asked him if there was any way that he lost some when he dropped it out of his pocket «trying to answer is phone» out on the lot. He just laughed. «I heared it fall out of my pocket and picked it right up» was his response. Really!!! You can here paper fall out of your pocket in the middle of a construction site (the dealership is undergoing a reconstruction) and you didn’t count it to make sure it was all there? Not the mention mistake #4 why the hell did you have our «hold money» in your pocket?!?
We called the police and even talked to the owner. When asked for any camera footage, how conveniently, there is no cameras at the moment because they are undergoing renovations. We tried to talk to the owner he just stood there while his sales manager screamed at us how he isn’t a liar and he wouldn’t risk his job over $ 500. Another sales rep looked up from his computer and called us idiots! A very informal apology was given at that point but that was all and it was very nonchalant.
Do I think he would risk his job over $ 500… I hope not.
But I do believe there was a protocol that wasn’t followed by himself resulting in the miss placement of our money and he was lying to save his ass!
We received NO apology. NO reimbursement of our lost money. We were basically told to leave.
I would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone! From the beginning we were treated liked trash and by the end we had half of our hold money stolen from us! No wonder car salesman have such a bad reputation!

We bought our cars at Flammer Ford and we get them serviced there. The service techs are always polite and I they are honest about what needs to be done. In fact, one time when I had a tail light out, they basically just charged me for the light and showed me how easy it was to change myself. You should make appointments in advance, even for oil changes if possible, because it will save you time in the waiting room. However, they always have coffee there as well as donuts in the morning and a vending machine.

Each time I take a car there I know that I am getting great service. The service gentleman (wish I could remember his name because he deserves the recognition!) was very kind. As a female entering a service shop, I certainly did not feel «put down» in any way — in fact I got better service there than in most 5 star hotels. The mechanic even came to discuss the issue my car was having and answered all my questions until I was confident in my decision. This is a great place — the bad reviews are so very wrong.

Place was friendly if you like Obama jokes. It seems there’s a lot of hate here. Place is clean and easy to get to but the service guy I had was not very professional.

This dealership is amazing! From sales to service they went the extra mile to help me and my family. I HIGHLY recommend this dealership if you are looking for a new or used car. This was the first time I left a dealership wanting to hug everyone. They are so kind and helpful. Don’t bother to go anywhere else, they will take great care of you!
