I like this indie Greek butcher shop in downtown Tarpon. They have some cool package deals and nice meats. Personal service. Cute lil place on the main drag. They even do cuts for poochies. Opa!!!

Terrible experiences. Have twice found ribeyes and t-​bones to be tough. So I don’t buy steaks there any more. The final straw was the lamb, that I called in advance to order. Paid for it and when I got home I weighed it and it weighed 20 percent less! If I’m hosting friends and I ask for a specific size I expect to get just that. Be forewarned.

Acropolis Meat Market and it’s owner Teddy are the best. Vast variety of meats, cheeses etc, and the «Teddy Special» cut of meat is hands down the best piece of meat you will ever put in your mouth!

These guys have a great selection of fresh meat. The Teddy Special will melt in your mouth every time! I’ve never had even a tiny bit of gristle on any of their Teddy Special steaks. I dunno what they do to keep them so tender, but whatever it is, it works!
